Yes I saw those pics - too bad MOST of them can't be downloaded anymore.  I did save the one from DANTE.....and that Grauman's Chinese picture seems to be from the premiere of SO THIS IS PARIS....and Allison is wearing a dress she wore in CHICAGO SYNDICATE.....I guess the blocked out girl must be Mara Corday, but I don't know why he would have to do that, unless it's because she's still around - at least I think she is.

I sent him a text message.

Have a good day, all!

Well, the lingering effects of the winter storm that hit the southeast have altered our plans somewhat.  Instead of a 13-day driving tour, we're taking a 7-day fly/drive trip.  Unfortunately, Charleston was the major casualty, so we'll have to plan a visit there another time.  We'll fly to Jacksonville, FL, on Saturday, drive to Savannah for 3 days, back to St. Augustine for Richard's meeting, and then fly back from Jacksonville next Friday.

DR MBARNUM I found a nice DVD copy of SIGN OF THE PAGAN, if you don't have it, I will copy it for you.

I saw that movie when it first came out.  Orpheum Theater in Seattle.

I don't recall.  Is it any good?

Well.....Jack Palance as Ghenghis Khan with Jeff Chander, Rita Gam, and Allison Hayes.....originally in 3D....but quite a CinemaScope spectacular.  I can't say it's good....but it was Miss Allison's first movie.

Both Tall Paul and Let's Get Together are in a three-song medley.

I'm up, the sky is blue, they're shooting a commercial a block from here and naturally every street parking place is taken in front of the home environment, which means I'll be pulling in and out of the garage all day.

If I didn't have a wife and kids department:  I've just been offered a 3-9 month contract playing piano in China.  Good money, all expenses paid.  I wonder if Betsy would like to be single for a while.  :)

Sentence: I hope the Baptist minister was being autoschediastical when he made fond mention of DR Elmore's video collection in his sermon Sunday.

Have I missed something?

Today's visit to the clinic was the proverbial one that gives dentists a bad rep: painful, rough, generally unpleasant. As I feared, the last set of impressions had to be redone, only after some painful work was performed. My dentist, knowing what I was in for, did give me a bottle of champagne as a New Year's gift before the hell began. I should have drunk it immediately.

I did have a good time texting Steven LaBrie between rounds of anguish, though.

Good day one and all

Taking a break from watching Hamlet with Olivier

Local station has THIStV which broadcasts  a lot of movies from the MGM catalog.

the Olivier version is by far the best
