It sounds like you had a lovely anniversary, Ginny.  :)

We did, indeed, DR Laura!  DR Edi and our friend Betty and the ladies at the Hilton Head church sure know the restaurant to recommend for a special celebration.

I am sorry to report that I did not get good news about Joshie from the vet. He has stomatitis, which is an autoimmune disease. We had another cat several years ago that had this, and it did not turn out well.

We have a form of pasties here in ND called Fleishkeichla

I will pass on Montana's delicacy.. Rocky Mountain Oysters (also called Prairie oysters) do not sound appetizing in the least.

Thank you for clarifying that for me, Dakota.  I thought that was what Montana was offering.

Arizona's was fry bread -- something I may have had once. Maybe.

Oh, I love fry bread.

He is feeling better. It was obvious he was in pain after the dental work. He is happy to sit on my lap and purr. And he is in favor of the canned food, which until now has been a luxury.

Glad he's feeling better.  Spoiling him with canned food sounds like a wonderful plan

TCB, I really need to do something like you did to provide for my cats.  Don't know who I'd trust to find them a good home and keep them together

It's the only way to get the antibiotic in him. And soon it will be too painful to eat anything except canned.

Like I said.....

My family are all animal lovers, but everyone but my mom thinks cats need to go outside. My brother even let my mother's cat out when she specifically asked them not to and she got lost, was outside over night and was found in a woodpile the next day.  So...

Good plan :)

Of course as a lawyer you know the importance of putting your wishes in writing. ;)

We know Craig will take care of Sherlock.

DR TD, or any DR,

I'm looking for feedback on several books.

WOLF HALL

ANGLE OF REPOSE

LABYRINTH

My friend chose "Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet" for our March book group & just found out it won't be available in paperback until March.  She needs a new book ASAP.

I very much enjoyed Wolf Hall - but it took a couple of chapters fpr me to get used to the author's writing style -  once it started to make sense to me I went back and started again - I do recommend it
