Sounds like you're having a good time Jose!

Or at least will be in a bit.

Aunt Ruth never made liver and onions. My mom did, though.

So did mine.  I make them from time to time, but it smells up the house.  Much easier to order them at The Green Gables.

I am. This was/is a really good conference. There's been some "issues" with the new hotel, but, otherwise, everyone seems to be having a very good time.

It even snowed today! :)

Well, I cooked a couple of chicken breasts in canned broth. Yes, canned broth. Then I chopped some carrots and celery and onions. I put them in to cook when I put in the noodles. Here is the noodle recipe

TOD - Hmmm not really sure about that.  I'm not as into collecting books as I once was.  Maybe a first edition of the Lewis and Clark Journals.

Today while I was at Wal Mart - the label on my Deli package didn't scan.....so a young lady employee grabbed it and said "I will get a new label for you...."  And she ran away.

The clerk finished scanning my other items, and I got my money ready.  While she was finishing up, a young lady pushed her cart into the aisle and unloaded a bunch of kids' shirts, valentines, valentine candy, and some useless items.  After a few moments, she said: "Are you waiting for something?

I said; "Yes."

The other girl finally came back with my package, which scanned, I paid.  As I was leaving, the clerk said, "Sorry for the delay."

And I said; "No problem.  It bothered other people a lot more than it bothered me."

It was not the "chicken and" part that was the hit. It was the "noodles."

Thanks!  I've never made home made noodles.  I usually use Reames frozen egg noodles.  Think I'll try it

I forgot to say that when she first asked her question - I also did my best Jack Benny impression.

Well, it's time for me to leave work.  I have some TV watching to do tonight...but there's nothing unusual about that.

Until later!

He even packaged up the leftovers for lunch at work tomorrow. This is monumental.

Wow! :)  Have you written down everything you did to make these perfect?

It is a good thing I was home, because he said he would have climbed over my fence to get to my meter. I have a terrible fear of people climbing over my fence for liability reasons.

I'm shocked he is permitted to climb over a fence.

Richard and I had an interesting "date" this evening.  We went to a program called "Heart & Sole" offered at the sports medicine clinic that our hospital has at a nearby YMCA.  First we had our blood pressure and cholesterol checked, then we had our foot physiology analyzed by a physical therapist.  She recommended exercises that the technicians then taught us and we also had a presentation by a shoe expert.  I've been intending to buy new walking shoes, so this was extremely helpful.  We had a lot of expensive attention paid to us, for free.

This is interesting.  Will Richard now be joining you on your special diet?
