It is a good thing I was home, because he said he would have climbed over my fence to get to my meter. I have a terrible fear of people climbing over my fence for liability reasons.

Hmm, I will have to remember that next time I am in Phoenix.

Good Evening!

And after playing for about 730 actors over the past four days... I am done!

Richard and I had an interesting "date" this evening.  We went to a program called "Heart & Sole" offered at the sports medicine clinic that our hospital has at a nearby YMCA.  First we had our blood pressure and cholesterol checked, then we had our foot physiology analyzed by a physical therapist.  She recommended exercises that the technicians then taught us and we also had a presentation by a shoe expert.  I've been intending to buy new walking shoes, so this was extremely helpful.  We had a lot of expensive attention paid to us, for free.

Oh! And one actor already promised to buy me a drink later. -And that was BEFORE I played his audition!

Oh! And another actor just came up to me and asked if he could buy me a drink. :)

-Frankly, I'd rather be "tipped" in chocolate. ;)

Ok. I am not a singer. (Shut up, Kerry.) But sometimes I just want to grab a throat and say, "Pick a note. Just pick a note. And stay on it!!"

LOL, you would love Seth Rudetsky.  If he ever is in Phoenix - go see him

re: some of the comments from yesterday.

I watched INCEPTION a few weeks ago. I think the idea was better than the movie.

I wish my library would get THE SOCIAL NETWORK as I really want to see it.

It's released on DVD tomorrow, so check with the library.  I got an email that it's coming to my mailbox tomorrow YeaH!

Where the heck is Cilla when you need her?

I spent the ENTIRE day writing a brief and getting it electronically filed. Luckily they have electronic filing at the 8th Circuit

I think I will call Peter Schickele tomorrow; one of my favorite albums of his has never been released on CD and I wonder if he's had it transferred and can burn me a copy. There's a sound clip on his site but the album isn't available. Damn!

I love PDQ Bach.  When I was in college working as a stage hand they came to our theater.  We had such fun setting up and with the show that they invited me out for drinks with them.  It was great fun

I was totally wiped out after working all day on that brief.  So I decided to get a good dinner. Paul called just at the right time and we went to Green Gables.  Half way through his liver and onions with potatoes and gravy he said he's getting his cholesterol checked tomorrow.  LOL, he didn't realize liver was full of it

I had broasted chicken with fries and cole slaw.  Not good for the diet, but man did I feel better after I ate.

It was so nice to work at home today.  The work was exhausting for many reasons, but being home and writing without interruption was a dream.

So, next time I have something to write, I'm going to work at home.   It's really the only way I don't get interrupted

Aunt Ruth never made liver and onions. My mom did, though.
