The last thing I want to say about my day is that I'm pretty sure geriatric nursing or social work are not potential "encore" careers for me.

'night...

My library got THE SOCIAL NETWORK yesterday. And since it's about a real person we are allowed to reserve it (they stopped letting us reserve movies, except those about real people). And since i "suggested" it they put it aside for me. So I will get to watch it this weekend.

We still haven't watched, maybe tonight.  Craig enjoyed it.  Remember it is a one sided story even if your library calls it a true story.

I agree with you about the last episode of HUMAN TARGET.  I hope the show is renewed.

I didn't think that Social Network seemed that one sided.  It wasn't all "pro" for any side of the situation. I did enjoy it

Well, I had quite a day.  I've been thinking about giving up the court appointed fed criminal cases for some time.  So many things about the court, the slowness of getting paid etc have really driven me bonkers and I really need to spend more time on my immigration work.  But, I've done crim. defense for literally 1/2 of my life, so it's a bit like letting part of myself go.  And there's a certain guaranteed income with it.....long story short.....today I got to the last straw.  With my brother on my cell phone cheering me on, I walked over to the fed. building.  Went in to see the judge and quit accepting appointed cases.  I'll finish up what I have, but after that I'm done.

As I left the federal building after finally saying enough is enough,  I felt like the weight of the world was lifted off my shoulders.  I felt like dancing.  I felt like I was an Egyptian  (although I wasn't walking like one).  It was the best feeling ever.  I'm finally free.

OH, I almost forgot.  I went to BLUE VALENTINE tonight.  Good grief, if anyone is feeling bad about not being in a relationship it's the movie to see.  It sort of juxtaposes the beginning of a relationship with the ending of the same relationship.  Not exactly a happy movie

My favorite and soon to be my quote was a comment by a probably 14 year old girl outside after she had seen the Bieber movie
"That just made my life".   Oh dear.
