Scrapes, cracks, and flickering lights are not good, DR Jose...

"Bartered Bride" is great fun. Glad the production was a success.

I didn't go in to work today.  I had a very uncomfortable night.  It hurt no matter which way I tried to sleep.  I woke up at about two and my whole body was shaking.  I got up and took some Tylenol and drifited back to sleep.  There was no way I  could face getting in the shower before work.

I wonder if DR Elmore remembers the colorful production of THE BARTERED BRIDE that we saw 30+ years ago at the University of Cincinnati?

Morning all.

I slept very late (for me) today. I got up around 9:45am. I'm feeling much better. 12 hours of sleep can do that for you. There is still some soreness but no pain and the soreness has subsided since yesterday as well. Also the gas that they pumped into my abdomen is passing as well. My stomach was somewhat distended and before I left the hospital the nurse said part of the operation involves pumping carbon dioxide gas into the abdominal cavity to allow room to work and allow the surgeon to see...........

Does this mean that the surgeon lights the gas on fire so he can see?

CACTUS FLOWER coming back to Broadway?  Oh dear!  That show seemed dated when it was new.  However, Maxwell Caulfield could make it more enjoyable.

I think I may have resolved my problem at the office.  I may be looking at it from the wrong perspective.  I think I need more help, not less...I'm thinking maybe hiring someone part time in addition to Edith.

Sounds reasonable as you seem very busy.  Of course had she requested help you might have come to this conclusion sooner :)

Friday morning greetings!  Today I'm going to let my cousin totally look after his mother, because yesterday was quite stressful.  Her condition continues to deteriorate and she's very uncooperative.  Without going into too much detail, I can tell you that he may be in Ohio longer than he'd planned.

I'm very sorry.  At least he is here and it was a planned trip since he has so far to travel.  How is his seven year old doing?
