Yes, I read the notes, but, if you want to get snarky, when I find several paragraphs in various places about this shipping problem, I start glossing over things.

Just got off the phone with my doctor's office. They don't need to see me unless things get worse and I went ahead and made the appointment for Monday to have the stitches taken out.

Well, I'm going to put the ice pack on this eye and go lay down. Thanks again for all of the good wishes.

This morning on the train I finally finished MY LIFE IN FRANCE by Julia Child and her nephew Alex Prud'Homme. It's a book I'm very sad about finishing. I loved reading about her travels in France, her relationships with her husband and family and friends and her blossoming and growth as The French Chef. Isn't wonderful how much a book can engross you and become a part of your life for a short while? I hate finishing books I really love, too.

Today, however, I will rejoice when I finish "The Schools We Need." I agree with the message, but, boy, would I love to shoot this messenger.

I'm wondering if it's something with moon alignment or any of that nonsense, but yesterday was the most agitated I've been in ages, too, and I woke up feeling a little of the same.

Whatever is causing it, I hope it passes for all of us.

By the way, Dan (tM), I don't recall the reason you picked up Julia Child's book, but her one-time cohort, Jacques Pepin, also wrote a fascinating memoir, "The Apprentice: My Life in the Kitchen." Warm, funny and in many ways remarkable.

DR DtM - I can't recommend this book highly enough. If you haven't read it already.....probably you have to get a used copy, but it is available for kindle.
