I'm still walking.  I'm very proud of the fact that even if I don't manage to walk when I get home from work, I haven't missed the mile walk before work yet.

I guess everyone is out drinking green beer today.

Not me...I'm at work, trying to stay awake after only about two, count 'em TWO hours of sleep. :P I just couldn't get to sleep.  Okay, I did stay up later than usual, but still...only two hours.

AND I have rehearsal tonight.  We'll be dancing.  That'll keep me awake.

VINDICATION!!  The jerk who wrote me an email attacking me about where on earth did I get the idea I posted on the listserv talked to the guy I said told me about the situation (I'm being intentionally vague to avoid searches)  Anyway, he backed about 99% of what I said and even said he understood and respected what I was upset about 15 years ago. (yes this is all over something that happened 15 years ago).   Of course the jerk focused on the 1% that we differed, but he's even wrong about that , lol.  I feel vindicated

Good for you, Cilla!

And this is the first time today that I've even been able to read HHW, let alone post.  I don't know what's going on here at work, but I dont' like it.  Pages would time out and I'd get error messages, and only HHW...and only here at work. :P

But it seems to be fine now.  We'll see what it's like tomorrow.

This tragedy in Japan is wrecking havoc on my sleep schedule.  I  just can't seem to turn off CNN.

I know what you mean.  I'm trying to get away from it by watching Selling New York.

I'm afraid I've been sucked into the City/Farmville worlds on Facebook and need to get out!

Good Luck!

The easiest way to get out is to never get in.  I did Farmville for a short while, but it never really interested me.  I have HHW to take up all my time.

And now that I'm all caught up, I must be going.  I need to stop off at home for a bit before rehearsal.

Until later!

I made my corned beef and cabbage last weekend, but decided to go to a local Irish bar (it's not a pub) and have their version for lunch.  OMG it was terrible.  They had those little round canned potatoes and just heated them.  The corned beef was ok but the cabbage had no flavor.   When I finished the bar tender (I was drinking ice tea, it was noon afterall)  asked how it was.  I said "Mine's better" and 5 or 6 people burst out laughing.

I need to put on my cheaters.  I thought that Cilla wrote that she went to a local Irish bar and had their venison for lunch.  I didn't think that sounded very Irish.

Do you make this stuff up to give us a good laugh? ;)

No, I swear!  I kept looking at that post trying to figure out why she would order venison at a Irish Pub.
