Well, you've read the notes, the notes were rainy, and now it is time for you to post until the rainy day cows come home.

We expect rain later in the day.  AFTER I return from my Monday banking and shopping, I hope.

Good morning, all! I sleptlater than I wished and the laundry, after a wet walk down the block, is in the washers. As DR Ben reported, it is raining out, which should teach me for not doing the laundry yesterday, but I doubt it.  I've forgotten any dreams I may have had last night, but I think I slept well.

There was a response this morning to The Email that was positive, but once again, I am left with the question did you ever read any of the ones I sent you?  A lot of my issues were not addressed, and a charge made three times now against me and my colleagues was denied; that bothers me. Who knows what will happen next?

Today, EILEEN bar counts, score checks, and a listen to the Herbert songs.

First more coffee and the laundry.

BK,

Speaking of Danny Kaye:

Next to THE COURT JESTER, my favorite Kay movie is ME AND THE COLONEL.

I wish they would release it on DVD.

Can't really say I'm a fan of disaster movies and rarely go to them.  Those that I have gone to, I don't much care for.  How about that one with Chuck Heston and the ants in South America? Can't remember the title, but that was pretty disastrous.

My mind was going in the same direction as Elmore's, so here are three catagories:

Real disasters:
The Serpent's Egg
At Long Last Love
Satyricon

Good disasters:
San Francisco
The Poseidon Adventure

Bad disasters:
Poseidon
Swarm!
Twister

"Carnival" story on Theatermania.com:

http://www.theatermania.com/new-york/news/03-2011/carnivals-original-london-cast-recording-to-be-rel_35274.html

I must say that I fnd the cover photo a hoot; the leading lady looks less naive and waiflike and more an angry punkette.

Monday morning greetings!  I'm looking forward to a quiet week - hoping to catch up on some household chores and reading and get back into my walking routine.

Eleanor Parker was in THE NAKED JUNGLE......but it certainly didn't live up to its title.
