Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm about 15 miles west of Waterloo, IN, and counting.

I forget -- where are you headed this time?

Chicago!
Chicago!
That toddlin' town...

With my senior discount, my Amtrack tickets came to $189, and I am not complaining.

I need to locate a couple of Herbert pices, like the "American Beauty" waltz for piano; then I've got some listening to do.

DR vixmom - I just hope that "they" don't tie that "jacket" too tight.

I wonder if they make straitjackets in lively colors or patterns these days, like nurses' smocks?

Hey Laura - any houses in your neighborhood up for sale?

As a matter of fact, yes, right down the street.

Thursday morning greetings!  My Mom and I are going to try again today to do errands.  It's a lot colder, but at least we're not supposed to have severe thunderstorms, hail, and tornado warnings.

Well I never figured out what made my shoulder hurt (btw, DR TCB your shower comment was very funny), but I did figure out how to aggravate it.  I was doing Just Dance kids on the Wii with my niece last night. And boy do you have to do a lot of arm and shoulder moves.

And we just passed Gary, IN, so we should be arriving in Chicago in about 30 minutes, just 20-ish minutes late.

As for the Topic of the Day...

Well...

In regards to THE JOKER - A young gentleman used the title song as part of his UPTA audition package back in February. It was a very interesting choice. Alas, it was also a bad one.

I missed DR SwishySarah last night. Very nice to see her stop by and glad to hear that her life is swell!!

And yes, she was but a teenager when she started on HHW. She was hear even before I was. There were lots of teens at HHW back then...of course they are no longer teens...and no longer on HHW.

I was a teen when I started on HHW also, wasn't I? I am pretty sure.

At first I didn't think I would know from the topic of the day....but, in fact, I like many of the songs listed.

I recall someone being asked to write a song in the Anthony Newley vein and quipping "I can't write: What Kind of Fool Can I Turn To?"

I'm up after a great night's sleep with no weird dreams.  No telephonic calls to wake me up and I slept eight and a half hours.  And now I'm stuck here until the picker uppers come to pick up.
