Long night, no sleep. Got started on a project I've put off for years in the wee hours of the morning. I hope I don't lose interest. And I hope it doesn't keep me up any more nights.

Mom thought she wanted a motorized scooter, but her apartment is small and it would take up a lot of room.  She does have a walker with wheels that helps a lot.  There are places to sit down along the way, too.

Thank goodness for places to sit.  :)

DR Vixmom thank you for the song.

We had snow this morning but Craig got out of here just fine, and Yogi didn't cry when he left.  For some reason I was thinking he had three flights to get to Phoenix.  It is only one flight and a very long layover in Portland.  I suppose a long layover is better than an extra flight.  Either way it takes all day to go from here to Phoenix.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show last night.:)

Sutton Foster sings two numbers from "Anything Goes." Don't care for the choreography for the title number, at least toward the end when Foster stands with her back to the audience while the chorus keeps dancing and singing. Seems like dead weight at dead center.

But the singing is really solid. The Cole Porter songs sound wonderful. And the bird was really getting into both, dancing up a storm.

Cilla I'm glad they did the right thing and extended the pass until the end of April. :)

Thank you regarding Sherlock's brother.  We received an email back from his person who said the report is more certain of what didn’t cause his death than what did, just that it was acute necrosis” of the liver.  It is very rare.  Had they caught it early chances of survival would still have been slim.  I guess that is his only comfort.  The not knowing would haunt Keith & me.

I wonder how much of the choreography they had to modify because they're in such a small performance space.

I have one final Doctor appointment this afternoon and then the ordeal with the appendix is over. I last saw him (the doctor) on February 25 for an all clear and he wanted to see me one more time after a month to see if all is well. It is and I'm happy and I'm sure the doctor will be as well.

I then must see my Primary Care Physician to fill him in on what has happened and how it all went.

I hope it goes well & that you are pleased with your new computer!

I don't suppose there is any chance that Sherlock's brother had been named "Mycroft"?

LOL.  We were originally going to name Sherlock that only very few people knew who Mycroft was.  I think Sherlock fits him, at least half the people who hear his name say so.

What lights?

The green light under your name and stars (top left)....when your "online", the green is bright (like it's lit up). When you are "offline", it's dimmed (like it has been turned off).

I hadn't a clue and never paid attention to this.  I just look at the top of the page to see who is signed in.

This is really not meant to be a sales pitch; more of a FYI:

In 2004, I co-authored a non-fiction book with a gentleman named Warren Hull (no relation to the late actor), entitled FAMILY SECRET.

In it, we not only revealed the name of the real killer of mobster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, but we also detailed much of Los Angeles' scandalous political history.  Once of the key players, in fact, is Howard Hughes.

In any event, certain people were not happy with the contents of this book, and now they have made Hull and me an offer to buy the copyright, so  they can bury it.

Even though this is more Hull's book than mine, my heart is saying "No," but my head is saying: "Don't be a schmuck.  Take the deal."

If this deal does go through, the book will, in all likelihood, disappear from Amazon and every other new bookseller's listings within 30 days.

So, if you're interested, this may be your last chance to get a copy:

http://www.amazon.com/Family-Secret-Warren-Robert-Hull/dp/1587363801/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1301064172&sr=1-3

Yes, DR Druxy, take the money and run.  And then write another book about this cover-up.

Even though it was snowing this morning Craig took Yogi for a walk this morning.  After it stopped snowing I took Sherlock for one.  I think Keith will join me this afternoon so we can walk them together.  I get kind of bored going up & down our road & out to the main road one dog at a time.
