FRIJOLES

Well, you've read the notes, the notes weren't worth beans, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently eating some frijoles and doing the MOOxican Hat Dance.

Tonight, I'm ushering for a tour of Menopause the Musical!  Several women from work are going.  It sounds like fun...from a theatrical point of view.  As for the topic, I have absolutely no interest, whatsoever.

Good morning, all! Around 3:30, I started to worry about the 5 am alarm, so I got up, took care of some emails pertaining to the Herbert recordings, and I'm ready for my third cup of coffee. I plan to leave here around 6:15 for Penn Station. My train should arrive in DC around 10:30 or so.

After the LoC closes, I will have dinner with my friend Loras before I board the return train. I hope that I can locate everything I need tofay. One of the librarians has totally screwed up the enormous Herbert collection and the LoC is dragging its feet to correct this fool's mess, which is ridiculous, especially since the head of the Music Division has asured me twice now that it will be corrected. Well, I'm still waiting.

So, that's my day. I have no idea what's on my playlist except for the VCR.

I just got an e-mail from Dell. The new desktop has shipped from El Paso, TX and is scheduled to arrive (in 3 boxes, monitor, CPU and speakers) on Wednesday, March 30th. I have my next weekend planned for me.

Good morning, DR Ben! I'm about ready to head for DC.

I had two eggs fried in olive oil for breakfast, and I'll pick up a snack for the train at Penn Station. I may not get lunch so a snack around Baltimore should be good.

I have one final Doctor appointment this afternoon and then the ordeal with the appendix is over. I last saw him (the doctor) on February 25 for an all clear and he wanted to see me one more time after a month to see if all is well. It is and I'm happy and I'm sure the doctor will be as well.

I then must see my Primary Care Physician to fill him in on what has happened and how it all went.

I'm not sure if I'm alone or not. Fred's light is lit but it says at the top that I'm the only one here.

And so, I'll leave.

Bye for now.

Friday is a work day.   Ugh.

Vickie who sent out all of the invitations, yesterday sent out a follow-up card with a NEW email address for RSVP responses.  We shall see how it goes.

I was in the Indianapolis premiere of Lanford Wilson's MA RAINEY'S BLACK  BOTTOM, which is an interesting play......but it was not a pleasant experience.

We played for 13 weekends......a revival....several benefit performances....and then took the play to Ireland for a Theatre Festival......I couldn't get away from it!  :P

That's me up in the "recording booth."

You can be looking at the index page or reading a personal message or reading another day's notes and your light will be on.

I recall seeing Huston's THE BIBLE when it first came out at a Director's Guild screening.

I left during the Intermission.
