My ears were burning, and now I have charred ears. Went back to Glendale, got the motor car and am home. I swear to you, I was not five minutes out of the dealership when some stupid, sickening idiot just starts mildly swerving into my lane. Now, the side of his car is bashed in - gee, I wonder why. I look over at him and he's blithely looking everywhere but the road. I look back in front of me and the idiot in a VW Bug has stopped - stopped - for no reason - stopped. I had to slam on my brakes and I missed plowing into the back of his car by approximately one inch. Perhaps he was in cahoots with the other idiot - maybe that's their con. But alas, I fear they are simply idiots who should not be allowed behind the wheel of a car - giving them credit to be smart enough to devise such a con is, of course, ridiculous. They're simply idiots and other drivers sometimes have to pay the price for their idiocy. Thankful my brakes are excellent. And you can't even yell at them because they are so totally not in the real world, but in some world of their own imagining, so they're not even aware of the havoc they almost cause.
