I've had perhaps the most hellaciously busy late winter/early spring ever, not that that helped alleviate BK's admonitions.  ;)

Thank you to those who emailed.  And I still managed to check in here almost daily so I kind of know what's going on.

Druxy, I was falling asleep the other night with one of the new SHERLOCK HOLMES BD's on, when I heard the dulcet tones of Richard Valley suddenly say your name, and I was quite awake for at least a moment or two.  :)

I also noticed that someone in Indiana won Powerball last night and I'm wondering if anyone has heard from JR.  :)

My DH figured the taxes yesterday. The first thing he said was "Where's the Tax Bucket?"

Aren't you the one who calls it the Tax Bucket?

I don't know from tax buckets.  I do know that in some rare display of Divine Power, we got our rather sizable Federal refund today, mere moments before the (threatened) shutdown of our very own govn'tment, which would have delayed refunds being processed.

We do actually keep our tax files in a big Tupperware container each year as we start assembling them pre-preparation time.

I've been having very detailed strange dreams lately.  I dreamed the other night that my sister had a barbie doll figure and was running a lot.  We were leaving someplace and she said "Oh it's only 49 miles, I'll just run".    My sister has never been a runner

Off to finish watching THE KING'S SPEECH.  Quite a delightful little film.  I thought the best line in the entire Oscars, skits or not, was Anne Hathaway's, "I bring you good news from the future:  microphones get smaller."  :)

I may have at some point, Laura.  I can barely remember what I did a second ago.

Nighty night.

Good Evening!

The concert by the Orchestra of St. Luke's at the newly opened Di Menna Center for Classical Music was wonderful. There were just two works on the program: Prokofiev's "Classical" Symphony, and Beethoven's Fourth Symphony. -And the rehearsal hall/performance space is gorgeous!

It was being taped for future broadcast on "Performance Today", and Fred Child was the host for the evening. -I always get a kick out of seeing the face behind voice.

DR Jennifer - My appearances on "Eat St." are very, very, very, very brief. I'm basically just "background". -I'm just trying to figure out who the main guy they ended up interviewing is.
