Good morning, all! I am bathed, dressed and on my first cup of coffee. I'm getting concerned about the EILEEN deadlines so that's been addressed. This morning, I have a bit of work on the recording dialogues for Act Two. The Act one and Two Finales are half sung and half dialogue, and that's got me pondering on how much dialogue is needed, if any, between numbers in the acts to explain what the hell is going on when the Finales rev up. So, I'll present my initial thoughts and wait for feedback from the powers-that-be.
Yesterday, I was able to match up an unpublished Herbert song with the show for which it was written and that gave me both a date (1897) and a lyricist (Harry B. Smith). That was a good moment.
Tonight I'm having dinner with John Graziano and his wife at their home in Flushing, a place I've never been, so around 5 pm I will take myself to the No 7 subway and its last stop. I am looking forward to this.
DR TCB, more vibes for your sister!
