One year ago today, MR BK, DR CP, DR EVIL KURT, and I attended the Indianapolis performance of Le Cortex Du Planete X.

Mr BK with Fred and Joyce Bunson, Indiana versions.  ;D

Good morning!   The cats let me sleep until 8:00 this morning.  I guess all the drama and excitement wore them out.

Good morning, all!

This is another lazy weekend for the most part. I have some research on some Appalachian folk songs topics and I have to deal with the latest EILEEN crisis that was dumped in my lap yesterday afternoon  by my colleague Curtis.

DR cillaliz, what a great thing for Edith and her husband to do for you yesterday. I hope this will resolve the  drainage situation.

More coffee!

I'm up. Cats are fed and I've medicated Callie.   Now, off to find breakfast and a good fan that will dry the basement once and for all.   I have a fan but it's really old and not very powerful.   Then I'll scrub the few moldy spots off the carpet with borax and water.    I'm considering spraying the solution on the spots on the walls, but may just cut out the wet part and replace it when everything has totally dried out. There is no mold or mildew smell at the moment.  I want to keep it thata way

Off to the hospital to see how Richard is doing, then on to a Pilates class, the first is about six weeks. My body needs it, but I fear what my body is going to feel like afterward.

DR Elmore, I thought it was really nice of them.  Edith has said many times that I should call Chris if I need help, but I've never really felt right about it.  Of course, I'm not good at asking anyone for help.  It meant a lot to me that they called and came right over.

Saturday morning greetings!  Second stay-at-home day in a row and I'm lovin' it - maybe I'll finally get out the Easter decorations.

Last night DR Jose said:

"DR Ginny - My friend, Philippe Pierce, is currently in that production of La Fille du Régiment you saw the other night at Dayton Opera. He's "Le Paysan" ("The Peasant")."

I would have been surprised, Jose, if you DIDN'T know someone in this production!  We enjoyed it very much and hope Sharon thinks of us again when she's trying to get rid of her dress rehearsal tickets.
