Well, if I die today, blame the vicodin. My mouth is killing me now the anesthesia has worn off so I thought I'd see what was in the medicine cabinet. I had two tablets of vicodin left so without reading the label, I took both of them. Then I got all pancky and called US Poison Control. The man asked me the dosage and told me I will get very drowsy. He didn't  start screaming for an ambulnce or anything so I guess I'll sweat it out.

Rob and Mary Linda's wedding is 4 months from today.  Richard and I weren't even engaged yet (but close...).

Well, my teeth no longer ache, but I'm not feeling drowsy. If I disappear from HHW and don't report in by noon tomorrow, send Jose! My neighbor in 3D has my apartment keys.

I think things will be fine.

Ron Pulliam, I hope the antibiotics does the trick and that's all you need.

I took the bottle of meds out of my bag an hour ago...it's a 30-day supply...I take one 100-mg capsules twice a day.   This is a serious attack/assault, it seems.

Spring has arrived in Rehoboth Beach:

The Farmer's Market opens:

And the beach gets hardy visitors:

And the damnable Princess tree is in bloom:

And guess who's back for another extended visit:

Fleurie's first visit lasted only two weeks, but she's back for another month while her owners return their 17 year old son to his school in England.

(Her owners said she moped about the house for three days after we returned her from her last visit.)

She was all tail wagging when she arrived at the front door for this retuen to Summer Camp

BK -your evaluation that the remaking of "The Taking of Pelham 123" is "a piece of crap" -

You are much too kind, but then this is a family site.

I'm having a blast with my handy dandy new smartphone, though like any typical geezer (technical term), I had to call Verizon last night to find out why a bunch of icons were suddenly appearing on my "home screen."  It turns out if you press an icon for too long it migrates to your home screen.  You can get rid of them by holding them down on your home screen and dragging them to the trash icon.  Who knew?  (Probably Jose).  ;)

Probably ;D

The Rodgers & Hammerstein page on Facebook has a ton of photos of the OKLAHOMA! reconstruction at the North Carolina School of the Arts. I wanna see it!

That looks WONDERFUL!

I somewhat recall the Christine Andreas/Laurence Guittard revival going along that re-creation route, but I don't remember to what extent.
The photos look great, though John Mauceri is starting to look as old as Celete Holm.

Dame John has to look good. It's a Big Ego.

Yes, I am back from the Dental Clinic and I ache from jaw to jaw. The unpleasant surprise was that  I had to pay for all four fillings in full; it is not one of the procedures that will permit installment payments. I am now $380 overdrawn, but I think my invoice check will arrive before the clinic's check lands inmy bank.

Ouch twice!!!  MEGA VIBES THE CHECK ARRIVES IN TIME!

I'm trying to skip lunch saving up for the beer dinner tonight:

Artisanal Cheeses & Meats

Crab Gazpacho
lump crab, local tomatoes, garlic, onion, sherry

Braised Duck Tacos
crumbled goat cheese, habanero-cherry BBQ sauce, homemade blue corn tortilla, micro cilantro

Roasted Free Range Airline Chicken Breast
pinto beans & rice, roasted pablano mole

Chocolate Corn Pones
warm mexican chocolate sauce, marshmallow whipped cream

All of which will be paired with approipriate craft beers.

T the Farmer's Market I picked up a local endor's jar of " Backyard Country Apricot Mustard" - (mystard seed, brown sugar, cider vinegar, apricot jam, and herbs).  Sounds like it will make a great glaze for the wild Alaska Sockeye Salmon we bought.

Woody mixed some with olive oil and blasamic vinegar and made a splendid dressing for chilled greens.
