Too many boiling pots on the stove tonight. I feel I'm accomplishing nothing.

Last night's season-ending 2-episode "The Mentalist" was PHENOMENAL!

I agree. Wow. Loved it.

I was barely able to walk from the car to my apartment this afternoon.  My back is so bad right now that I thought I was going to collapse in the middle of the office today.  For only the second time in as long back as I can remember; I took two Vicadin this afternoon when I got home.

It hasn't completely numbed the pain, but at least I don't say, "Ow, ow, ow ow" when I get up from the chair to go into the bathroom.  Nicky is trying very hard to be a good nurse.

And 24 hours from now, I will be deep in the bowels of the main branch of the New York Public Library. I will be participating in a "game" with 499 other participants called Find The Future. It should be quite an interesting time. The main goal of the event is to write a book that will become part of the NYPL's permanent collection.

I am sorry Jose, but the world is ending tomorrow.

I'm off to a local production of The Drowsy Chaperone which I'm very much looking forward to as I know almost the entire cast.

I liked The Drowsy Chaperone. I wish our local theater would do it. But they always choose something else.

I had every intention of taking a shower and going to bed an hour ago when CSI:NY ended, but 48 HOURS grabbed me and I watched the whole thing.  It was about a murder case in, of all places, Lima, OH.

Now for the shower and, I hope, a better night's sleep than last night.

See y'all tomorrow!

I finished the first week of work. By the grace of God.

The blood sugar is not cooperating, and it's making life less than peachy.

Regarding the end of the world:

Martin Luther was once asked what he would do if he knew the world were to come to an end tomorrow. His answer: Plant a tree.

I felt like planting one myself today.

DR TCB, sorry to hear about your back. I too am having back problems and was off work Wed and Thursday because of it. It hurts mega!

I don't know what I have done to it, but at some point over the last year or so I messed something up and it comes back to haunt me now and then, but Wednesday was the worst and I had to have my supervisor drive me home

On the positive side, I am getting to know my hunky chiropractor intimately...um, so to speak.

I can move around much better today, thankfully.
