Good morning, all! I'll be off to Toyland very shortly. I could accomplish my work here, but since I'm having a meeting at 1pm at 26th and Sixth and Toyland is at 27th, and close to Sixth, it seems silly not to accomplish what I need to do there.

Well, last night's dreams were weird and I remember moments of two of them: my lovely soprano friend Sara Jen Ford was recording NAUGHTY MARIETTA and she was married to this bounder-conductor that DR Ginny and I once knew who went through life and several marriages with an open fly. He's probably still paying child support to someone.  In the second dream I was in a very swank hotel and trying to return a credit card to one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and retrieve mine!

I heard from Ron Raines. His opening night gift arrived and tonight's the night. I've heard much I cannot report but I wish Ron, Danny Burstein, and Christian Delcroix who's playing young Danny Burstein a big success.

DR elmore - There's lots of work on the subway this weekend, plus lots of street fairs. You may way to check http://mta.info before you head down for the service advisories.

I have to stop at Staples at 9 before I head downtown, and I'll probably take a taxi from there.

I'm listening to one of those Broadway compilations from TER; John Yap tends to reuse tracks of my orchestrations for multiple singers, and I think I've got some songs I've scored with three or four different voices. He does a lot of "special event"overdubs for various concert people, and I'm listening to "Make Believe" with a good baritone and the wooliest soprano I've heard in some time. She's got the notes, but an awful tone.

Well DR Jose will be glad to know that i am on the way to the doctor now. My mom was nice enough to go and get me a number at the clinic.

I called 811 this morning. I don't know why i didn't think of this before. They have nurses that help you (you explain your problem to them). I got a very nice nurse. She said there is a decent chance that they will say it is viral (which is what they usually say). But that it would be better to just know for sure.

And since i was up for 3 hours in the night with a sore throat (yep that again). I am going to go.

Really the only reason i did not go till now is that i was sure it was viral and hate having to spend half the day at the doctors when they won't give you any meds.

Sorry to hear about DRs Elmore and MBarnum's back pain.

I have had lower back pain for years. And last year i got this thing called Back Magic. It is the best thing ever. I try to use it every day. And since i've been using it i have almost no back problems.

TOD:

I don't recall exactly when I had my first pizza...or where.

We didn't eat pizza at our house, so I know I was older; perhaps late in high school or even college.

But, I love a good vegetarian pizza...just not too often.

And it's a rolling earthquake. It starts at 6pm in the first time zone (wherever that is) and then continues but it's well past 6pm in Australia so I think maybe it's not gonna happen.

Unless he meant that it starts at 6pm in California (they are the first to go since California is where Sodom AKA San Francisco is) and then the rest of the world.

Part of me wants it to happen just so I can be on earth when the likes of Tony Perkins, Ruben Diaz, Rick (Frothy Mix) Santorum, Crazy Eyes Bachmann and the others don't get taken away. I want to see the look of WTF on their faces.

It's a beautiful day in Manhattan. We are going downtown to J & R to purchase a Canon LiDE 110 scanner and then all our technology issues will be resolved.

Good morning.  Don't know if it's allergies or a cold, but my sinuses were crazy this morning.  I"m guessing it's from the paint.  I always react a little.

Today I'm getting the car serviced, going to breakfast and cleaning house while I wait for the people who are going to pick up my mattress get organized enough to schedule a time to pick up my mattress.   They called last night to tell me that the person who was organizing the van hadn't talked to them about it yet, so they don't know when they will get the van.  So, I'm going to go about my day.   I couldn't get the car appointment until 1:30, but that's ok.  I'll walk over to Culver's and get a burger.

I haven't heard anyone above me for a the first week I've been in this apartment, and today, I finally hear footsteps.  I'm wondering if they are "weekend" people, which is entirely possible in this neighborhood.  So far, it's just feet, I can deal with that.

Oh...

And as at least one DR already found out, since I had won my spot via Twitter, the NYPL interviewed me before the event started. -So here's a 24-second edit of the brief interview they did with me.

*Yes, I know. I talk too fast. ;)

Speaking of pepperoni - that's exactly what I had them do last night at Little Toni's - cook the pepperoni extra crisp - it's great that way - what's not great is to eat three slices loaded with it at twelve-thirty at night.  Hence, I am up.
