I see I've got a lot of Kander and Ebb listening to do - hope I can find all these songs.  May need some mp3 help at some point.

Don't forget their songs from the FUNNY LADY movie.

And didn't they write the title song from LUCKY LADY?  I remember that being kind of catchy...

There is  also (Get) While the Getting is Good from Lucky Lady

Thank you DR Laura.

The horrid pin in my wrist has been removed & I now have a smaller removable splint.  I also got a script to begin PT right away which I dropped off at my therapists office on the way home.  he wasn't there so i left a phone message for him to call me to set up an appointment.

Prayers & vibes to Aunt Jo!

Thank you, DR Jane.  She was asleep when I got there, so I just talked to her nurse.  The doctor had not yet been there today, so we don't know much.

Sleep is good.  I hope they aren't doing the horrible treatments they did to my father when he had pneumonia.  Sometimes it is best just to keep a person comfortable & keep the treatment simple.

It appears that the mystery of the missing sunglasses has been solved - they're at the Gardenia.  I don't know if I'm up for going over there later - still pretty nauseous, but they're safe and I can always get them tomorrow night.

Very good news...about the sunglasses, not the nausea.

Tonight the show LOVE BITES with Becki Newton (sp?) from UGLY BETTY premieres. I love her. So i will record it.

I didn't realize that "Love Bites" was Becki Newton's (correct spelling) new show!  I'll definitely be watching this tonight. :D

DR Jennifer are you scheduled for a follow up visit with the doctor?  You might need a re-check & complete blood work done to make sure nothing else is going on.

No and he never even said to go back if i didn't get better.

My sore throat stopped hurting immediately. The drowsiness was from the meds. My sinuses were still hurting. But i've been using the neti-pot every day and now they feel good.

My only problem is that my energy is not that high. It's much better than i was when i was sick.  Just not high enough to do the biking/swimming i'm used to.  I will try to do 20-30 minutes of biking tomorrow if there is no wind.

Thanks, DR Jane.  it's kind of hard to tell - she's very uncommunicative and stubborn.

if you don't continue to get your energy back i suggest a follow-up visit.  i'm glad you are being careful not to do too much before you are up to it.

I have an extra week of vacation to use this year. I already used a day for my Follies trip in DC.

We have two official days for the 4th of July (Monday and Tuesday) so I will take another 3 days that week. I don't know if we will venture anywhere but it will be nice to be out of the office.

I am also going to Michigan in August for a family reunion.

That's the summer for us.

Wow!  It is hard to believe that we are starting to make our Fourth of July plans.  Time is flying!

Still queasy, but maybe a bit less so.  I've just been on the couch like so much fish, watching a very long motion picture.  In an hour or so I'll probably head over to the Gardenia to get my glasses.  Meanwhile, I had a very nice chat with Mr. Robert Harris, the film restoration expert - he's sending me to a lab tomorrow to see what my stuff looks like.  The lab is doing this for free, which is great.

Well I went all over today taking photos

Here are links to my albums of the flood so far on Facebook.  I have lots more, but have posted these so far.   The water isn't all the way here yet, but it's going to be a mess.

And in other HD movie theatre news...

Earnest: Live in HD starts today. Click the link to see if it's coming to a cinema near you.

Will Catherine Zeta-Jones  be doing her show-stopping "Send in the Clowns;" or perhaps this year branch out and channel Patsy Cline by doing "Crazy?"
