I am so pissed about the Babes in Toyland project going on hold. Seeing Kim and her babies makes we want kittens!

She hid under the leopard-spotted fainting couch the second I opened the carrier. I let her hide a while, then we dragged her out and held her. She hid as soon as we let go of her.  A few minutes ago, I saw her in the Baby Box, so I put the babies in with her. She is still there, and she is letting me pet her. She'll come around. Eventually.

Oh, I'm ok. The road was steep, and the heavy mining trucks had turned the road to powder. I slid on the powder.

And there were no witnesses, unlike the day before when I fell in the neighbor's turtle pond.

Think I'll go for a drive before it's too dark.   It really is hazy from the fires here, so not sure I'll take photos.

DR Laura - looks like you've fallen again - for kittens!  You take care, too.

We   spent  night a night at Crater Lake and saw a beautiful sunset due to a fire that made it difficult to breath.

I am so tired (3 busy days in a row, in the heat).  Now that it's dark here, I'm going to bed - 'night!

So The Daily Show makes fun of Anthony Weiner by talking about how well-built and buff the Congressman is?

That'll teach him.  :)

Ya know, I think many would just like to have this Weiner thing behind us.  But then there are those who want to examine every inch of it.

;D ;D  ROTFLMAO!   ;D ;D

Vibes for all those in Arizona affected by the fires. And those up north affected by the floods.

Good Evening!

Well... After dawdling around the interwebs for a while, I finally crashed on the couch around 5:00... And then woke up a little before 8:00... Just in time to catch the cast of "Modern Family" on "Inside The Actors Studio".

Since I'm feeling like a zombie...

I think it's best that I just log of, turn off and crawl into bed.

Goodnight.

Back from Grant's.  Barbara's book is finished and going off to the publisher.  We got giddy at some point and laughed so hard I thought we were going to die.  But the best part of the visit was when Grant played me the first of the Guy Haines tracks - he's finally begun - and it's a stunner.  I'm not going to give away the program but will only say that the track was for Wichita Lineman - cannot wait for Guy to do the vocal.
