Remember how Priscilla was being touted as the show to beat and was going to be the biggest thing NY had seen in years?  Hasn't quite panned out that way, has it?  Interesting.

It's competition, I think, is LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. From what I've heard about it, it follows the film too closely.

What? Now I'm confused too. La Cage was last year.

LOL, I read the first six words and wondered what on earth I had done to be touted

I actually wondered the same thing. :D

It's about a lot. Maybe even too much. I'm still deciphering the program notes.

Christie Brinkley may call it an A-List cast, but it had a D-List director, Lonny Price. He's such a good actor, I wish he'd go back to it.

Sounds like what happened with The Full Monty!  When it opened, everything that I'd read said that it would at least be nominated for all the awards, which it probably was, but then The Producers opened and won everything.

Some spambot must have gone completely berserk, registering new users here at the rate of five per hour.  I just delete them unapproved but it's most annoying.

And this number was pre-recorded at rehearsal today. -Notice how there's not camera shots from the audience.

Oh, it closed - just a few weeks after Chris Sieber joined the cast.

And it won The Best Revival of a Musical Tony last year.
