Well....the show is cast....and awaiting acceptances from a few people who are on vacation, but whom I am sure will accept their parts.
OTH - two dumb asses turned down roles. Even though they checked on their audition sheets that they would accept a role other than that they preferred.
One young man who is a very good singer, but a terrible actor - was offered the part of Sir Lionel....and he said no thanks, since that's a non singing part with no lines - I don't know what version of Camelot he has been reading.....and I had also planned to use him in FIE ON GOODNESS and maybe as the singing Herald at the beginning of "Guenevere" - so his part goes to someone else, and I hope he isn't planning on auditioning for me again....after all I don't do shows just so he can "work on his singing and acting" niether of which he did when he was in MAN OF LA MANCHA....too busy texting.
Another gentleman declined the role of DAP - which would have included participation in several numbers.....fine....see ya!
