DD Ben will do what he wants to do, when he wants to do it. Typical German. (no offense to HUMAN Germans here, of course)

Had to settle for a used paperback....English hardcover is available used for over $100!I'm glad I got mine when it was published! I can sell it for $100? That will almost buy me a ticket to BOOK OF MORMON.

And in other Sondheim-related news... "Stephen Sondheim's Company with The New York Philharmonic" will be making a return engagement to select cinemas in July. Dates and times still TBA.
I told the mother to give herself a mid-show standing ovation. She did.
Nice photos, Ginny. It must be a relief for it to all be over.
PS -- you look so thin! (Not in a bad way)
Shocked that none of our experts could figure out the Snoopy song line "I know now you can't rain a violet." I couldn't either, but the thirteen-year-old's mother did (I even googled "rain" and "violet" and got zilch) - the song April Showers - "It's raining violets." Mystery solved.
Henry's Western Round-Up gave MY FORTY-FIVE YEARS IN HOLLYWOOD AND HOW I ESCAPED ALIVE a very nice review in this week's blog...and next week, they are doing an interview. http://henryswesternroundup.blogspot.com/
Today's burning question raised by yesterday's posts department:George's father is named Pearl Django?

So, I may just be "behind the table" as staff. No need for pants, then.Actually, when I'm at the piano, I don't have to wear pants. Alas, most audition rooms are equipped with folding tables, and said tables don't have "modesty panels".

Well, we're at forty-three percent of our Kickstarter goal. Very nice news for four days in, but now becomes the hard part - getting the other fifty-seven percent - keeping the interest alive and getting the word out so people don't forget. But very heartening so far.
Call me old fashioned and hopelessly out of date, but could you imagine stars like Merman, Martin, Preston, Raitt or people of their ilk ever doing a Broadway Bares All benefit?
Thanks DR GEORGE.
