Back from a sandwich and no fries or onion rings (now that I know I'll be onstage in late November, I will be on a serious diet to lose the weight I gained back, about twenty pounds in all), then banking.  I'll go see what's at the mail place soon, and then I'll jog.  I may or may not be going to the lab to hear and discuss the sound issues.

I am not eligible for social security until September 2012, but i am now registered for Medicare. I liked the lady who took my case very much.

Do you mean not eligible with full benefits?  I thought one can take it any year beginning at 62.  I got my first check this month.

Shocked that none of our experts could figure out the Snoopy song line "I know now you can't rain a violet."  I couldn't either, but the thirteen-year-old's mother did (I even googled "rain" and "violet" and got zilch) - the song April Showers - "It's raining violets."  Mystery solved.

I also tried googling it.  Thanks for the explanation.

Life is not a highway strewn with flowers,
Still it holds a goodly share of bliss,
When the sun gives way to April showers,
Here is the point you should never miss.

Though April showers may come your way,
They bring the flowers that bloom in May.
So if it's raining, have no regrets,
Because it isn't raining rain, you know, (It's raining violets,)
And where you see clouds upon the hills,
You soon will see crowds of daffodils,
So keep on looking for a blue bird, And list'ning for his song,
Whenever April showers come along.

And where you see clouds upon the hills,
You soon will see crowds of daffodils,
So keep on looking for a blue bird, And list'ning for his song,
Whenever April showers come along.

Just had my first cardio walk since a week ago Thursday - whew!

I haven't been getting much walking in.  For some odd reason I don't feel comfortable walking alone.  I feel somewhat off balance without mobility of my arms, plus I've been dizzy which is probably due to my allergies.

Too bad the world's ending in December 2012...you won't have much time to enjoy it.

Priscilla, I'm sending another batch of checks for Joe!  I think that this'll be it from the people at my work, but at least it was something. :)

I just gave myself a mid-show standing ovation for no reason whatsoever.  It was very exciting.

OK, table is set and the company is due in about 15 minutes.  Wonder what we're having for dinner?
