DR JOSE is your apartment in DC proper.....or where are you staying?  I guess I missed the details......is it your brother's house or someplace else?

I can't keep up.

DR JRand - I'm staying with my brother out in Centreville. It's a little bit of a hike to get into DC, but almost everyone who works in DC usually has a bit of a hike to get to get to work. -And I'm still amazed at the people who live in places like Annapolis or even West Virginia(!) who commute each day in the District.

Once the show opens, I think I'm still going to take the Metro into work. My "plan" right now is to go in a couple of hours early each day, and spend that time getting to know the various museums of the Smithsonian again. And it's also been years(!), since I've been to the top of the Washington Monument.

*And the Food Truck craze has finally hit DC too, so... ;)

Because it is almost July, I am listening to Christmas selections for planning purposes.

Well, since it's been almost eight weeks since I've plugged my Christmas-all-year-round ballad - and maybe one of the 16 Guests hasn't heard it :)

Oh no, looking back, I actually started all this lethargy talk - I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm sure BK is happy with all the posts, even if they're about lethargy.

Kittens had their second set of shots today. I really hate having to go out in the heat to do that.

Well, who'da thunk it.  Back at the beginning of March, I ordered The Human Comedy from Footlight.com.  Sometime in the middle of April (because I hadn't received it yet), I sent an e-mail asking if they knew how long it might take for me to get the CD, if it's still available.  No response.  In May, I sent another e-mail asking "Is anyone there?"  STILL no response...so I just figure that they couldn't get it or it's no longer available or the guy died.  I had no idea.  Anyway, I get back from lunch and it has just arrived out of the blue!!  It's a brand new, sealed copy in perfect condition, but they never responded to my e-mails.  Weird, huh?

Anyway, thanks to the people who offered to send me copies.  I wanted to wait until I heard something from Footlight, and now I have...three and a half months later.

:)

And the kittens are totally cool with the circumstances?  The heat AND the shots?

Don't know.
