Cillaliz, did you read that Jared Loughner spat on your friend?

I hadn't heard that DR Laura.   He's crazy, not surprised.

Cillaliz, what is the point of having Loughner in a mental hospital if his lawyers are fighting him being treated?

We're actually making great progress so far. There have been a few very minor tweaks here and there, but, all in all, we've basically just been running the show in costumes, with lights and sound for the first time.

DR Jose - are you using the original orchestrations?   The BandStration?  Or the Brohn over-orchestrated fiasco?

My opinions.

I don't think you need to have the title twice.  (So I don't care for post #5 & 6) I like the yellow on the show girl (I like post #2 & 4)
I feel that post #7 although interest at the size it is it online looks too busy.

I also like the stairs on #8 and perhaps put the stairs on #2 or 4

BUT my favorite is post #4. It just more visually appealing to me

DR Laura, ok, I read an article and I think I know what's going on.  There was a US Supreme Court case that said you have a right to refuse mental health drugs.   The court ordered forced medication and I think that's what they are fighting about.

I prefer this one  but I would remove the title of the show from below the chorus girl

In my opinion the small bright "spotlight" on top of the larger less bright spotlight in 1-3  gives a "snow man" look which i find  distracting and makes it difficult to see the chorus girl properly

I agree

I like this one the best. I find the "snowman" distracting and didn't realize what it was at first. I don't care for the "cone" or the empty steps. I agree with Vixmom and others about the nudes; much better without them.

I agree with DR Jeanne.

I do like the sparkly curtains, but just in general, not for this purpose.

It is interesting to see what people liked or not like here.

I think BK should just go with what he thinks is the best.

I think I was a little wishy washy not actually focusing on one.

I am home from the  doctor, with a wheelchair (which I now own).  Also a couple of possible broken toes from the last fall on Saturday in the  bedroom.

DR TCB - thanks for checking in!  Broken toes are not fun, because they hurt and there's not much that can be done for them.  Vibes to you!

Probably the most action in my bedroom in many a year!

And the latest from here is that I smashed a finger on my left hand in my sliding closet door.  It's swollen and bruised and I can't bend or straighten it.  Doesn't really interfere with my typing, but some other motions - like drying my hands with a towel - really hurt.  If it's the same or worse in the morning, I think I'll have to have it looked at.

I can tell you that my favorite was the sparkly curtains, but I can certainly see the problems - for me, the sparkly curtains make the whole thing pop but they don't stop my eye from going exactly where it should - the girl.  I may have him try one of those without the snowman spotlights - just one spotlight like the one on the curtains image - I like that one, too.

BK, I would like the sparkly curtains a lot better without the snowman lights

Rehearsal went really well - this show is so much fun!  Great cast, great songs, only three tiny lyric flubs and the show order works great.

I don't think the French magazine has an online component and I don't want to break the spine of the mag to scan it (plus I don't think you'd be able to read it anyway, the font is rather small).  But it's a very sweet remembrance of my Dad and a recounting of his campaign to free Cherbourg after D-Day.  I am very proud to be my father's son.  :)

I'm sure glad you are home, TCB. Hopefully the wheelchair will keep you from falling.

I know he had a number of big hits, but IMHO Billy Vaughn's sax is rather reedy and anemic sounding.

I got the new Marple BD set to review, so I will go watch.  I have issues with how many liberties have been taken with the Christie source elements, but the production design and performances are top notch.
