Well, you've read the notes, the notes had lines and finished, and now it is time for you to post until the lined cows come home.

It was a beautifully cool night and we slept without the air conditioner.

Today is supposed to be only 83! Yeah!

Thursday morning greetings!  Last night my friend Becki came over to the hotel and we had a glass of wine and a nice visit down in the lobby.  She says HI, DR Elmore!  This morning I'm meeting another friend, Andrea, at the Starbucks across the street and then going to the clergy wives' luncheon at the Dunwoody Country Club.  I've tried to contact DR Edisaurus, but have not heard back from her...

TOD: Can't remember much of anything this morning, but I do recall enjoying the courtroom drama "Class Action" (and most anything with Gene Hackman in it) and "The Verdict" from back then. Seems sad to be saying "back then" but I work with someone who doesn't remember the '80s. He's too young. Oy.

Good morning, all! I slept very well until around 3am, when I was suddenly wide awake, pondering a review I've been asked to write, and no amount of tossing and turning wold send m back to sleep. Around 4 am, I decided to hell with it, turned on the light and read for 30 minutes. Naturally, when the 6:30 alarm went off, I had no urge to get out of bed, so I slept in until 8:30. I'll cry tomorrow.

I did have one bizarre dream that I was in the world's lousiest summer theatre program with our DR TCB, at Middletown Ohio's drive-in movie "The Dixie Cruise In,"  and a group of us - TCB, myself, and three other men - got into major trouble for  sending away a truck loaded with scenery and costumes for a production.

I still have laundry to do, and I can finish it by noon. I'd hoped to finish it by now, but such is the case.

Is anyone having problems with Facebook? Last night I got an email that Anastasia Barzee wanted to be my friend, only the friend request has not shown up on my Facebook page. Then, this morning, I was told I had a message, and I could not get the messages to load in. Oy! All I need is to buy a new Mac.

Which part of the MRI is giving you panic attacks? For me it was two things. 1)the closed space 2) the loud noise.

I agree with DR Jane. If it's possible get some meds. I wish i had that.

I got to the laundromat to find two women there, who between them, had tied up everyone of the 10 small washers with enormous loads of laundry. The washers were taken, and the folding tables were covered with damp laundry, so I turned around and came home. I'll go back later when these ladies have finished. If I'd used the medium washers and paid $2.00 more, I would then be competing for dryers because they'll have them tied up until they've finished. From the look of things, they're going to be there for at last another hour and a half to two hours. Pisses me off, but that will teach me to wait. My original plan was to be there by 7:30. Damn.

DR CILLA LIZ - it's time for people to stop inviting that friend to ANYTHING....ANYTHING.....as long as she is allowed to do that....she will do it.  YOU have stood up to her....and GOOD FOR YOU!

You should have scratched the other lady's name out......or circled it and charged her 50 cents for her share of the card.

I have made an appt. to talk to the costumer in Indy about CAMELOT......my first choice was completely uninterested in talking to us and started making all kinds of conditions on the telephone and saying such things as: "I'm not sure we even have anything...."

So I said....'You know what, never mind.  You're making this much more complicated than it has to be....I'll go someplace else...*click*."

I then emailed the previous owner of said shop and told her about it....and she said....."Yup, that's the way they do business now....if they do any business...."  Too bad....they used to have some nice stuff.

TOD:
A co-worker of mine was complaining that she could never go to the theater and sit through an entire movie without falling asleep. It didn't matter how good the movie was or how much she'd slept the night before. I asked her if she had ever been able to stay awake for any movie, and she said, "Suspect" so I guess that says a lot for that movie. I liked it too. I was disappointed by "Philadelphia." I think it's because the courtroom dramas on television we've seen, ever since LA Law, and then Law & Order, etc., have been so good that my expectations were too high. John Grisham's "The Jury" was a book I enjoyed very much, so I was really looking forward to the movie, and it was pretty good with a very good cast: Dustin Hoffman, Gene Hackman, and John Cusak. Funny, it's hard to think of that many courtroom movies - either good or bad - it seems that genre has mostly been made for television.
