I put the pork in the roaster oven at 8:30 this morning. It's now almost 10:30 at night and it isn't done yet.  I'm really glad I didn't decide to do this Saturday.  Whew! we would have been eating dinner at midnight!

Didn't hear from the lawn guy.  I'm not sure whether to get up early and mow or to wait.  It's frustrating.

OY! Hour 14 and counting.  It's got to get to 190 internal temp and it's stuck at 150.  I read that this happens and then it suddenly takes off again.  I wish it would take off already.

Whew!.  Ok. pork butt is done, pulled, packaged in ziplocs and put in the freezer.  Looks like I can just refrigerate it and be fine so I'll go get it before I go to bed and bring it up from the deep freeze and put it in the refrigerator.   I have also cleaned up the mess, taken the garbage with bones etc out to the garage, washed the roaster and am running a load of dishes. It was a mess to work with.   I am very glad I did this ahead instead of having that mess the day of the party

Welcome twenty-one GUESTS.  Some of you seem to be VERY interested in the NYMF Brain - reading every single topic from back then.  Perhaps it's one of the groups doing the show.
