You know, I interviewed Peter's ex-wife a few years back. She was pretty devastated when they divorced.

That is sad.  Which wife, there have been so many.

Was Peter Brown in LAREDO?  My mother loved that show.

DR Jane, there were 8 of us at book group last night and only 2 had not finished the book.  And, no, it doesn't bother me when not everyone has read the book because sometimes I'm one of 'em!  No one expects the discussion to avoid spoilers and, sometimes, the talk convinces someone who didn't like the book enough to finish it beforehand to do so afterwards

It used to bother me more when we avoided discussing spoilers.  I'm more layback about it now, not that I ever said anything.

DR Jane,

Diane Jergens was his wife. 1st one, I think.

Such a cutie! She is now married to singer Randy Sparks.

In the paper today they gave the temp yesterday in Fahrenheit. It was 115F. Hot!

That's hot!!!

Yes it is. Crazy weather for here. But I guess a lot of the east coast is getting this hot humid weather.

Going swimming tonight!

TOD:

DVD - we just finished watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1.  Well, Richard watched it and I slept through most of it.

CD - Jason Graae arrived today and will ride to Dayton in my car tomorrow when I go to meet my friend Sue for lunch.

Back from a quick sandwich and no fries or onion rings.  I realized I couldn't do the long jog and have time to eat something, so the jog will happen directly after the work session with Boswell, which is in thirty minutes and will probably last an hour.  No important envelope today (hopefully tomorrow), but I did get one little package.

Well, I just spent the last three or so hours being really anal retentive about a piece of music I entered in Finale (the music layout program). Of course, after futzing and fussing, when I went to print it out, the printer ran out of paper right before the last page! And I can't seem to find where my brother keeps his extra paper supplies in his home office. Guess I'll be making a trip to the copy room at Arena when I go in tonight. ;)

And speaking of Arena...

Since Fridays seem to be the most unpredictable days for traffic in the DC area, I'm going to get a headstart and head in.

Laters...

I am finally home from what I can only call a morning from hell, which I posted on earlier. After we moved furniture, modems,  and computers around, most of the day went smoothly and we accomplished a lot. All except for the printer/scanner which was stuck in the lousy power system and continued to lose power every 30 seconfs to 15 minutes. It was not a good day, over all.

I am happy to be home, and I'm staying here until Monday morning when I have to go out again to Toyland.

Your day wasn't as bad as the day Shades, Shanti, Purrcy, and Feathers had. They got neutered.

Maybe they're accusing each other of the crime!

I spent my lunch hour torturing my coworker Monica by showing her trailers for the old Mexican films LITTLE RED RIDING AND THE MONSTERS, PUSS N BOOTS and SANTO VS THE MARTIAN WOMEN.

I felt she should have a knowledge of the film history of her ancestors country of origin.

Here is one of the trailers that she watched:

She wasn't as appreciate of Mexican cinema as I thought she should be.

Perhaps she'd be more tolerant if she felt she wasn't watching film clips intended for an adolescent girl and not an adult woman?
