Well, you've read the notes, the notes were whiny, and now it is time for you to post until the whiny cows come home.

From yesterday DR Jose said

Follies has an interesting opening week schedule. Their first performance is on Sunday, August 7, at 3:00. And then they're dark on Monday, and resume Tuesday night.

*They're also having a strangely(?) long preview period  - 5 weeks - for a show that's supposedly just being remounted from the Kennedy Center presentation.

I believe the ghosts are now going to be flown around the stage.

Good morning, all! I slept well, and I hope we can finish this project called EILEEN today.

Please keep those vibes coming! We've got scores to print and a few remaning orchestra parts. The smoother it goes, the happier I will be.

BK, the email inquiry is sent. She's one of my Facebook friends, so you can always send her a message as well.

I have no more news for the day. So far.

TOD:
DVD: two Netflix items sitting here for too long
CD: An Evening With Sheldon Harnick, Kate Baldwin sings Sheldon Harnick, Guy Haines,
VCR: who's got the time this week?

Friday morning greetings!  Still waiting to hear from ML or her mom about where/when to pick them up for our lunchtime visit to the wedding florist...

Oops, just reread the email I'd received a week ago from ML's mom and realized that she'd included directions in that message.  So, I'll be off to Lansing in a few hours and my sister will probably go with me.  She and her husband usually play in a Friday evening golf league, but the course is probably too wet after a doozy of a storm overnight.

Friday is a work day.....

We did the singing for the Camelot Finale Ultimo last night and it sounded very nice.  Only problem was with the alto singers.....who finally got their notes....finally.

We will set the lights and cues beginning Monday at 10 a.m. - and then stage the last scene - and then sing everything!  So we shall see what we have....   If anything.

Yes, the lesbians are Mlle Danglers and her singing teacher. The only English transaltion that does not gloss over their relationship is the Robn Buss one for Penguin Books. Have they been caght in flagrante delicto yet?

More work today: because my copyist supervisor was more concerned with getting to London, I have a timpani/bells/chimes problem I have to resolve today. I doubt he ever even listened to my wishes about this two months ago. I had asked for the part to be included in the percussion book so that all the percussion parts were available to all players. It didn't happen, so I've got a percussion part for triangle, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Snare Drum, Tambourine that can be divided among three players, but the tuned percussion is all on a spearate part with the timpani. So, we have to rprint a second timpani part today for any part that has bells or chimes.

Keep them vibes coming! I'm out of here!

No idea what I'm going to watch this weekend.

Yesterday, I watched HIGH NOON and IRMA LA DOUCE.

Thanks, all, for the vibes for my mom.

It's been an experience!  After an initial diagnose of a stoney gall bladder, my mom had to go thru a number of tests and imagery sessions on her 2nd day that were tiring her out.  But then they put her thru a procedure that was to clear her bile duct of some stones that, because of the twilight anastesia and the huge amout of bile suddenly flowing thru her system, left her in a state of dementia.  Very frightening, though the doctors and the staff repeatedly told us thus is a normal reaction in elderly patients.  To make matters worse, over Wednesday night Mom developed anterial fibulation (which she has no history of.) Her surgeon told us that because of that, they would not put her at risk of gall bladder surgery.  The cardiologist matter-of-factly initially said they could "slip" a pacemaker into her to correct her heartbeat, but later "lessened" that to just giving her heart an electric shock.  We were also told that she would need a tube inserted into the gall bladder to drain it to prevent an infection.

But then things started to turn for the better.  Moms heartrate corrected itself through the drugs they gave her, do she didn't need the shock procedure.  Then the tube insertion went smoothly and mom came out of it feeling fine.  She had a fitfull night last night, but I suspect that was because they left a rather bright light on over her bed all night.  Since I came in this morning and turned on the indirect light, mom has been sleeping light a baby.

And good news from the surgeons--if moms heart rate continues to stay normal over the weekend, they will go ahead with the gall bladder surgery on Monday.

Again, thank you all lovely people for the vibes!  They do work!

Sending vibes in return for all that need them!
