Am watching another hour of "The Sacrifice" when I should be cleaning. Oh well.

Well, the kittens have met -- they act like they know each other.  Poor Feathers is so congested.

Oh I act like that all the time.

She was a hoot and game to try most anything it seems. Martha Raye, that is.

She was very sweet.  Very drunk, but very sweet.

The pastor announced that tonight the nominating committee is meeting. Now, of course, no one will answer their phones.

Not sure what time rehearsal is - maybe seven-thirty, maybe eight - hopefully closer to seven-thirty.

I guess rehearsal is at eight.  Which means I don't eat until nine-fifteen.  And I have to be up at seven to jog, as I have a ten o'clock haircut with Teddy and won't want to jog after that.

The volume pedal for my keyboard started to short out tonight. Thankfully, there was an easy fix: don't use it. ;)

A new one should be procured tomorrow.

I am back from the barber and a lovelier than lovely luncheon with Joshie. We went to the Mexican place on 9th and 54th Street, a nice place where I once had dinner with DR Ginny and Richard. We both had a frozen margarita and now I'm tipsy and ready for a nap. Joshie has lost weight and looks really good. He gets around: this weekend he's off to Toronto. I wish I had his energy.

He spent last week in a hellish workshop with the conductor who crashed and burned in St Louis. I could have warned him, but sometimes you have to work with someone to learn he's a total ass.

DR elmore - Did you and Joshie dine at El Centro? -That's one of my favorite Mexican places in the city. Their chilaquiles are quite delicious, filling and a relative bargain. And, yes, their frozen margs can pack quite the punch.
