Well, you've read the notes, the notes never slept, and now it is time for you to post until the never sleeping cows come home.

I don't have much to say.  I was watching some of the I am Joplin stuff on the net from their event last night to get the kids ready to go back to school.  I'm going to drive mom and dad there for Thanksgiving.

Ok, time for bed. Hope the thunderstorms don't keep me awake, but the rain is very welcome, so I'm not complaining

I have been listening to satellite radio too much.  I have no idea what is in my CD player.  Yikes, I hate to admit that

We will be going to Poughkeepsie for the weekend so I won't be around to listen or view anything.

I'm up, packed and waiting for the car to arrive.  I was in bed by ten but it took me a while to fall asleep.  Once asleep I kept dreaming that the alarm hadn't gone off.  I finally got up at four-fifteen, a half-hour early, so the alarm didn't go off, since I shut it off before it had a chance to at 4:45.

Good morning, all! It was a night of terrible sleep, about 6 hours at most, provoked either by the panic of too little recording sessions in Dublin or my fear of flying, neither of which is particularly healthy. The fear of sessions has been caused by the fact that the novices to the recording world, without asking advice from the Grammy-winning producer or me, has only scheduled six sessions to record full chorus, soloists and orchestra in two hours of music, and I think we need a minimum of 9-10, allowing for vocalists postponing to protect the voice, power failure, bad takes, and other errors plus some catchup time. Both the producer and I are concerned. so she's unhappy with me for decisions I made three months ago when my requests for feedback got nothing, and I'm unhappy with her because she spreads herself too thin at times, lke missing a deadline to make her opinion of our leading lady's voice known.

Two weeks ago I was told we had all 8 sessions back, and then, suddenly, we were back to six. This recording is a litmus test for both the producer and me, and this recording will determine whether or not we continue. As to my fear of flying, I hate long flights and I have to spend part of my day determining the whys and wherefores of getting my butt to Newark with too much luggage.

The first part of my day is taking care of some family business for my brother randy, so I have to get some papers signed and notarized and returned to Ohio by Priority Mail. I've decided that the payments I mailed on July 2 were destroyed in a US Postal conveyor belt/sorting machine disaster, since no check I mailed 10 days ago appears to have reached its destination and cleared. This is ridiculous/

Then I am off to Toyland to check on the office before I leave town. On my way back, I'll stop at Port Authority, see about a bus to Newark tomorrow, perhaps purchase the ticket.

More coffee and then I am off to accomplish much.
