DanTheMan, I love the photo of the hospital, and the fact that staff can afford to drive those cool vintage cars to work every day.

DR TCB i still can't believe that there is no type of medical leave that would pay you while you are forced to stay home.

Oh, you hilarious Canadians with your socialized medicine.   ;D

Now you know we have something called disability. ;)

I think my favorite Woody Allen line (not uttered by him) is  "I finally had an orgasm, and my doctor said it was the wrong kind"

From yesterday:

Regarding the new CD:

I hope it doesn't have the dialogue bits that was on I believe the first cd.

If memory serves the last cut on the cd was that mechanical thing speaking

David Holzman's Diary

Studied it in films school many moons ago. I figured that is wasn't a real documentary because I question how did he do the last scene if his camera was stolen?

An interesting side fact to David Holzman's diary:

The scene where he stops and talks to the woman in the car. was impromptu and unscipted. She happened along and incorporated her into the film

I love the come-back line more:

"You had the wrong kind? I've never had the wrong kind, ever. My worst one was right on the money."

From "Manhattan", of course!

I delivered paperwork to the SAG office.  Then I rushed and did the four-mile jog, then had my lunch meeting, went to storage and picked up a chart, and then picked up a few packages including my new wallet which protects JERKS from scanning credit cards or other things.

I'm happy to have the DC Metro back in service (as erratic as it sometimes is).  It took me 3 hours to get home yesterday (as opposed to the usual 50-55 minutes)!

My neighbor is starting to clear a number of trees away from his house.  Wow!  If he takes a couple more my view of the valley will be incredible!   I love trees, but these are all aiming at his house if they fall, so he needs to take them down.  He thought I'd be upset because my view won't be a bunch of trees. Heck, I want to see the valley
