With all that filth I hope the litter box is clean.

It's on the balcony....and the balcony door is fitted with a little in'n'out for the cat.  Trouble is, the screen door cannot be closed properly which lets in all the insects who want to come in.  Litter box, I was told, was good to go and that I needn't trouble with it during the week.  It seems that Miss Vee doesn't really consume sufficient quantities of food to make a lot of poo.

Sigh.

Craig's little Kitty can also go a few days without the box scooped, if he has to leave her.  Since you are already there feeding the cat it makes sense to also scoop the box or at least check all is normal in there.  Such a shame.

I am reading a biography of Gorgeous George the wrestler....not an incisive book, but it is entertaining.

I've been on the phone with the company that's replicating Nudie on Blu and Ray.  Filling out some forms for them, etc.  There is a really slight possibility that I could have discs in time to bring with me to the Chicago show, which would be incredible.

Lord, that idiot (initials J.C.) on the cast recording list drives me mad with his continual pronouncements.

For all you fans of AVATAR:

 ::)

Blockbuster has a major overstock of the 3-disc DVD version, currently selling on Amazon for about $22-$23.

These are brand new sealed copies and they are selling them for $9.99.

I won't admit how long since I've had my piano tuned....and that isn't a euphemism!

We moved from Colorado (where my parents got what is now my piano...it used to be my sister's) to Washington in 1976.  I don't think that it's been tuned since before we moved here. :o

Well...maybe it was tuned once, but I'm not sure.

I'm surprised they let anyone in the house, Ron. I took care of someone's pets once with a house that was like that. It was all I could do to NOT start cleaning.

Hello, everyone.

I have been under the weather for the past week and am still barely functional--it comes and goes. So, if my posts make no sense, well, that's probably why.

My apologies, Jack. To update you, I stopped by my local Dollar Tree a week or so ago. I found the lightbulbs and dog stuff--neither of which I realized they carried--but no CDs. I did learn that there's another DT not too far away, which one day I'll have to check out.

I will PM you with my address. Thanks so much!!

Those of you here who are fans of DOC MARTIN may already know that there were two DOC MARTIN movies prior to the TV series. I watched the first of the two (2001) last night. It's quite charming. The Doc is not exactly stuffy, as he is in the TV show; he's--ahem--more relaxed. Highly recommended for Doc Martin fans.

TOD:

Once, down in Mexico, I was in a restaurant and there was an entire STREAM of bugs coming in. I don't recall if they were crickets or cockroaches. There was a gap at least an inch wide between the frame of the nearby door and the plaster of the wall!! When we said something to the waiter, he acted like it was perfectly normal. For that restaurant it probably was! It rather put me off my meal.
