Good morning, all! Last night around 10pm, just after I turned off the lights, the construction crew arrived to repave and blacktop West 82nd Street. I really have no idea how long the noisy process continued, but I was not asleep until after midnight; just when I started dozing, something noisy came wheezing and scraping down the street again. Once that was over, I slept rather well and I have three memories of dreams: recording JUBILEE with Tommy Krasker (like that's ever going to happen!), my grade school friend John Hawkins and I on a subway, and getting out of a car in London.
This morning, I have a trip down to the McGlinnventory to look for scores for Victor Herbert's THE RED MILL. When I return home, I have to tidy up this place which is getting out of control.
