Well there was a near tragedy here tonight.  Ricky got his head caught between the metal slat thingys on the back of the bar stool in the kitchen.  He panicked.  Luckily I was standing right there and was able to grab him and help him get free.  He really slashed my arm with his claw.  He's really freaked out, but he's ok,  I held him for awhile. He's already chased Boo and eaten treats, so I think he's ok.   I also sat and brushed him for awhile (his favorite thing).

I got some pillow cases and tied them over the back of the bar stools like chair covers. I think that should prevent it from happening again

Good for Ms. Cindy. If I had to autograph that many DVDs and CDs, I would need a little something to keep the hand going.

It's a pretty ugly scratch.  I cleaned it off, put some antibiotic cream on it and put gauze over it.  I think it's stopped bleeding now.  It will be fine

He was playing with something and the space is bigger near the top than it is at the bottom. I really felt bad for him

Thanks to all for the kind comments about Molly (and Austin).

Now I have someone to go to theatre with whenever I want.....and said person doesn't act like it's a chore and a bother.

it scared me too.  I'm going to go look for him again pretty soon, just to be sure he's ok.  Boo, ran after him and was with him the whole time.  She's now on my lap purring, she was pretty freaked out too.

After having a salon manicure for the wedding, I've decided to try to keep my fingernails polished and tonight I did my third DIY manicure.  My biggest problem is having the patience to let them dry completely.

DR Cillaliz - if that had to happen to Ricky, I'm glad it happened when you were home to rescue him.

I'm sure glad you were home to rescue Little Ricky! Once I discovered that one of the kittens had a cord twisted around his neck. I'm so glad I was here to rescue him.

I just watched "Revenge," the new show about, well, revenge, set in the Hamptons.  It looks like a good show, but I don't think I'll watch it.  There are just too many new shows and I can't watch them all. :-\

I'm now watching the replacement DVD from Netflix (soon to be Qwikster), Primo.  It's a filmed one-man show about Primo Levi, a real life survivor of Auschwitz.  Not a funny story.
