...I had originally planned to be down at the studio from 8:00-10:00 earlier this morning to get some practicing done, but due to various reasons, I wasn't able to head down then. -I blame Apple's iOS5 update. ::)

Thankfully, I was able to switch my studio reservation to 2:00-4:00 this afternoon, which will also give me a chance to catch up with my friend, Jennifer, who "owns" the studio I use.

Thank you for the vibes, everyone. Laurie comes home from the hospital today and if she is up to it I will go and see her.

As for the other actress, she actually is still going on auditions, but has not gotten anything recently. DR MichaelS, she had looked into the Motion Picture Country Home at one point, but said the waiting list was quite long and they ad told her she didn't have enough film credits or something like that. I forget. I am looking into subsidized senior housing for her.

Jeudi evening greetings!  We are back from a lovely day of sightseeing on the Ile de la Cite and the river edge of the Latin Quarter.  Before we left home, I downloaded 4 Rick Steves podcasts, including his Historic Paris Walk, and put them on both of my iPods.  Today, we did the historic walk and toured Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle and some of the Latin Quarter.  We had a delightful dejeuner directly across from Notre Dame.  Je suis fatigue!

Ginny, it sounds like you are having a great time!  My one visit to Paris was when I was a young teen, there on my own, and very uncultured and naive.  I spent two days trying to figure out what the frell the bidet in my hotel room was.  ;)

TOD - The Grass Harp, which opened the Power Center for the Performing Arts at The University of Michigan in 1971.  My friend, Doug, and I went to the gala opening night, attended by James Earl Jones, Helen Hayes, Truman Capote, among others.  The show went to Broadway and didn't last long, but I have fond memories of it.
