Anyhoo...

My first day back on solid food was, well... :)

I made sure to pace myself since I could tell that my stomach is a bit smaller after the past couple of days, but that just meant that I could treat myself to something every two hours or so. :)

I really am quite tired and sleepy already. Because of today's glorious weather, I ended up staying out all day. I walked a lot. And since I have a jam-packed morning tomorrow, well...

Freak story from church. A woman who was in my Sunday school class a few years' ago went into the hospital for what everyone considered to be routine jaw surgery. Well, something happened and she ended up in ICU and now it appears that she's not going to make it. They're talking about having to remove life support.

I really enjoyed Joan in class. I was teaching Judges then, which is all about sex, drugs and violence. Very nihilistic stuff and most people don't know just how bleak the book is. She had read the book before but she had never bothered to stop and think about the gore, mutilation and misery. And she surprised herself by finding some glimmer of humor in all that blood.

Finally my car is done with the body shop and service shop, now i just need the rest of my life to fall in place.   

No more stress for the rest of the year.
