Here it is. The names will be in reverse order. But I doubt much else will change.

However...

My Dad just called to ask me to cancel their tickets for Sunday. He just took my
Mom to the doctor's office due to a really bad chest cold. I really hope it's just a chest cold.

Where was this BEFORE Craig's weekend in San Antonio? ;)

He said the food & service was excellent everywhere except for one very strange restaurant.  This restaurant takes pride on bad service, insults & being downright crude.  Craig said they need a disclaimer outside the restaurant for unsuspecting customers.  I think the biggest insult was that the food was mediocre.

DR John G do you know where he ate?

Friday morning greetings!  I'm up early to go back to the vampire's blood lab for a repeat of last Friday's test.  The results were less than satisfactory and we're hoping for a 2+ INR today...

VIBES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning. I slept fitfully, expecting my poor hurting son to need me during the night. He and his dad just went to Denny's for some scrambled eggs.

I'm glad he is doing so well.

Peter's article was a great read.

I am swamped with work and I am STILL sick with this frigging cold.  I don't think I've ever been sick this long before.

Might it be about time to make sure it is only a cold?

The cover is here and it is beautiful. Unfortunately, it's not in a format that I know how to share it here, but I am very happy with it.

I always enjoy films about trains - especially runaway trains - so I started watching "Unstoppable" thinking I would enjoy it. What a load of rubbish. A total insult to the intelligence. What a contrast to the vastly superior "Runaway Train" with Jon Voight.

Dear Son decided to head for home since the pain pill wore off. Then he'll take one as soon as he gets home.

We are in for a very windy afternoon and evening, they tell us. It is getting breezy, and I can see dust hanging in the air.

So, the now 3 schnauzers in our restarted family are spending the afternoon together.  Otto, who is 5 doesn't really care, Manny who is 2 and intact is keeping close eye on Ben who is 11 months and intact.  So far, all is well.  They are going to have to learn to live with each other eventually.  I'll try to snap a pic.

Vibes to those who need them.

Ben (the DD) and I slept until 10:30, a much needed rest from the joys of tech week.

Speaking of vibes... the former DP (well, soon to be DP again as we've reconciled but are still living apart) anyway.... the DP just got a job as head Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto.  Today he goes in for the offer.  I wish him the best as he deserves this more than you know.  So, vibes for him would be awesome.  This is a great opportunity for him.

I know this changes every hour or so, but at the moment, my play JOLSON is #3 in Amazon's Kindle Store "Theater: Playwriting" section.

Thank You for the Vibes for my Mom.

I just called my Dad, and they're still at/in the ER. They're still running some tests. Apparently, something is wrong with her stomach, intestinal track.

Right now, I'm sitting at the ceviche bar at Chef José Andres' Mexican joint, Oyamel. The food is great, and there's enough noise so that I can't hear myself think. Which is a good thing.

Papas al Mole (really French fries with really good molé on top)

Still waiting for my Chile en Nogada.

And my Chile en Nogada (basically a chile rellenos stuffed with duck confit instead of gobs of cheese) has arrived.

New favorite quote o'the day whilst channel surfing department: (must be said with an extremely exaggerated drawl for full effect) "It's a hard thing to take that my wife is doing time in jail for a dead gerbil."

The United States is heading toward demise.  My reaction after watching the drawling fool quoted above.  His wife encouraged their son to kill his pet gerbil, violently so (won't get into details).  And he doesn't think she really did anything wrong.  Good Lord.

I wonder if there's a Bossa Nova version (whether or not by Betty Buckley) of "Doing Time in Jail for a Dead Gerbil."
