I am not caught up, so if I've missed any birthday wishes to anyone or such stuff, it's not intentional.

BK - has someone posted this already - they're watching and embedding Outside the Box in Germany!

That's because the site has been down for forty-five minutes.  I wrote the hosting people - even their main site was down and I couldn't get anyone on the phone.  But you can be sure that when THEIR own site is down, they'll do what they need to do to get everything working again.

Finally, a post went through - they've obviously been up and down - their site went back up then went down - I could get to this page to post but the post would never go through, so obviously they were starting and stopping every few seconds.  Hopefully they've fixed it now.

I was wrong, I guess - still hiccuping and not working properly.  That last post took two minutes to happen.

From DR Jose:

DR Jane - Some markets still do that. In fact, Whole Foods in NYC still puts price stickers on their items just in case their scanners go down.

Nice.  I like them so I can remember what I paid.  I never remember anymore what things cost.

It seems colder in the house today.  I just started washing a load of towels & can't wait until they go into the dryer.

I just purchased my first ebook.  Our local bookstore has a website now & I feel I should support them & not get all my books from the library.  Plus I can decide when I want to read the book. :)

I have gotten everything set up for the concert and am relaxing before the choir arrives.

In other exciting news, I purchased the December 1970 LOOK Magazine with the feature article on SCROOGE in it, which I still remember from my youth.  It frightens me sometimes that these trivial items are stored away in my memory banks.

Parade is going well.  It's a piece of theatre that I believe everyone should see as it does not get produced much, with good reason, of course.  But this a great show.  The company and the cast are publicizing the hell out of it.  We're hoping that the final weekend will be sold out.  It deserves it.

DR JMK, I hope all went well today.

Are you beginning to feel better?

Concert starts in about a half hour, but last runthrough sounded pretty good for a largely nonprofessional choir.  :)

Maybe a little better, but sure not as well as I'd like to be feeling.  Thanks for asking, though.

My altos are insisting on going down a half step to the tonic rather than a whole step to the major seventh on the final a cappella moment of CHERISH.  I'm sure that's all happened to you at some point as well.  :)

Back after disconnecting so Richard could reset our wireless.  We've watched college football all day, starting with the somber pregame at Penn State and a very close Cincinnati/West Virginia game that didn't turn out the way we wanted.  Now we're watching Michigan at Illinois - hope the Blue doesn't blow it!

Rain is expected later today so we took Sherlock for a little hike.  I was so cold from the house it took most the hike before I warmed up.  Of course as soon as I walked back into the house I began to chill down.  I'm still warmer than before the hike. It helped having a big serving of the delicious jumbili Craig made last night, plus I have the towels in the dryer.
