Good Afternoon!And before I take a nap...
Is that next to the Vivian Vance Theatre?
Most of what I wrote today was a love letter to Laurie Beechman. I was writing about our work sessions and doing the arrangements, so I put on her Andrew Lloyd Webber CD just to hear them again briefly - and I just burst into big old stupid tears hearing that voice and that album.
I finessed, I wrote about ten new pages, then had a sandwich and onion rings, then picked up no packages, and am now listening to half of our new master (the other score contained therein will be done by tomorrow.
Blanche is once again in the "Cone of Shame" because she has this spot on her paw she won't stop licking. This syndrome has an actual name that's something like "licking granularium" or something like that. If we can't get her to stop, are you ready for the cure? Prozac. (For her, not us).

Jennifer, I have to wonder if "keeping" an e-book would really prevent the next person "in line" from getting it.

Oy and vey.
I've been free of backache for years - until I woke with lower back pain today!

I've never taken an ebook out from the library. But I know DR Jane does. And I think you have to wait your turn. And I thought the next person only got it when the person before was done. Maybe someone who takes out ebooks can tell us.
Quote from: Ron Pulliam on January 12, 2012, 09:27:43 AMHeigh-ho!It is Thursday in Oakland of CA.I was home sick yesterday.I have this sinus condition that goes back and forth from being "sensitive to allergens" to being sinusitis with side effects (i.e., a buttload of other stuff).Literally, sadly. You go and go. And when you think you cannot possibly go again, you do.But that's behind me today, so to speak.Have you ever tried the netipot? They make one now that is just a squeezer. A lot of people i know who have sinus problems use this (i do, my sis does, her best friend does, her husband does). It really clears out your nasal passages!

So...My mom's friend, Susan, dropped off a Thank You package for me yesterday at the house. I was able to arrange some comps for her and my parents to see MY FAIR LADY. My mom sent an email to me last night at 2:17am:"I will open the card for you rather than mailing it or do you want me to mail it to you. Will keep the wine & candy."Well...While I was in a lesson a little while ago, my mom left me a voicemail stating that she had opened the card. She then read to me what Susan had written. And that there was a $50 bill in their too."I'll just keep it all here."WHAT?!?!?!?I just left a voicemail for her telling her that she could have easily sent me the card, even after she had already opened it and read it to me. I would like to SEE the card for myself. I also told her I would donate the $50 to a charity of my choosing. We'll see what happens.

But I agree with DR JMK that just because I'm preventing the book from being deleted that I am holding up the queue. Once my borrowing period expired, someone else move up and was able to download the book.

When Craig was in Romania I hated having to open his mail.
