I was sitting in the conservatory this morning and suddenly became aware of the noise of things falling onto the roof. I looked outside and saw a squirrel (possibly the same one I always see) sitting on the roof of the house, throwing nuts onto the conservatory roof.

And... We're delayed.

While they were refueling the plane, the wind blew over the ladder, and said ladder fell into one of the engines. The Captain thinks it is just a scratch, but maintenance had to be called to check it out. Right now, we're dealing with a 15-minute delay. Hopefully, it will stay that way.

*Of course, they had already loaded us on to the little bus that takes us from the terminal out onto the tarmac, but I least I still have wifi access on the bus.

Good morning, all! I was up itil 1:30 drafting an email about my DEAREST ENEMY concerns; three sleepless nights over this show since Saturday, and I am a bit tired of it and from it and my stomach is still in knots over all this tsuris. I'd like to pull the plug on it, not record this summer, and finish up the recordings for next year.

I'm now running late to be at Encores! to help Joshie today, and I am not amused.

That's good. I was on a flight not long ago when, as the plane was taxiing to the runway, it ran over a piece of metal. The captain said they had to check the condition of the tire. After a while with the plane still stood still, he said the tire was damaged and had to be replaced so we sat in the plane for ages while they got a new one and replaced it. At least the crew served us drinks while we waited...and waited.
