The laundry is finished and I am fretting my way through Disc 3 notes; I'm caught up on Herbert's settings of two poems by Algernon Swinburne and it ain't easy deciphering these poems' meanings.

Went to the supermarket today and bought a chicken and Brussels sprouts (my favorite vegetable although oddly enough lots of people don't seem to like them) for tomorrow's roast.

I LOVE roasted Brussels sprouts.

I've never roasted them. Must try that.

DR Cilla I'm curious what you will have to say about HUGO.

I downloaded an eBook from the library but first I had to click on a box to connect to the server, or something like that.  How I got disconnected I will never know, only that it solved my problem with the missing book which has now been reloaded onto my Nook.

This work is going too slowly. I'll work a bit longer and head out for a bottle of vodka.

I expected today's notes to be, "Tampons A Bag."  Very funny spell check story.

I believe the only movie I have seen James Woods in was THE WAY WE WERE.  While looking through his credits I see that he will be appearing in COMA - The TV Series.  Say what?

1915 was not a good year for Victor Herbert, and I am determined to unearth the reasons.

Bruce,

How accurate is this information for the Petula Clark Album Here For You?

Does anyone know why on two of the better (best) songs from Sunset Blvd "With One Look" and "As If We Never Said Goodbye"

There is a credit that says; "Contributions by Amy Powers"?

What do you do to your sprouts, Doug?

That really sounds obscene.

Her credits say she co-wrote the lyrics.

John G., how are you liking 11/22/63?  The Kindle version of the book is only fifty cents cheaper than the hard cover book.

I thought about trying to get us, at least, to Page Three, but I am not sure that I can think up that many mindless posts.  (Don't answer that, elmore)

George, the butterfly photo that I posted last night, came from Lauren O'Neill.

DR TCB, how are you feeling today?

I've been to store and returned with vodka. I got about halfway through the Disc 3 songs in seven hours and figured, the hell with it. I'm tired.

I thought you were going to say I got about halfway through the bottle. Drinking alone is the first sign ;)

I boil them. I didn't know there was another method of cooking them. But I don't boil them too much - I like them slightly crunchy.

I don't eat much cheese but I made the mistake of eating some late last night and ended up constantly waking up in the night slightly regurgitating food. I won't be doing that again!

Skimming this board can be dangerous.  I went from the butterfly pic to "I boil them."  :)

Just finished watching HUGO in 2D. I liked it. It wasn't at all what I expected. I wouldn't pick it as my favorite. I'm sure the 3D is fun. But i hate the glasses so 2D was fine with me
