Need to talk later.  Must be at Toyota before 7am.
Got caught up in boyfriend's custody battle for his son, by his ex and her attorney.
Will tell gossip this afternoon, and that is all it is, gossip.

Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day outside.

Beautiful Saturday everyone.

Also got caught up in stuff with my friend's son's trouble.
So i hid last night.  Not at home.  Did not want any part of it.

I guess i acted like a baby, running away, that will teach them.  ???

While it felt good to be in my own best last night, the sleep was not of a very good quality, so I am exhausted and tired and cranky this morning.

I'm really enjoying this Robert Mitchum biography I'm reading.

He was such a fascinating, self-destructive, character.

And the word of the day is: BURLED!

And The Song Of The Day Is:  I TALK TO THE TREES

There was THE most outre version of this on the XM Jazz station the other day, I wish I could remember who did it.

Have I mentioned that Betsy is hosting this weekend at Harvey's, the biggest comedy club in Portland?  She did one show Thursday, two last night, has three tonight, then two tomorrow plus the open mike.

Anyway, vibes for the mother of DR Cillaliz and for the mother-in-law of DR Vixmom!

I'm listening to the fantastic new boxed set of Marcos Valle albums.  Marcos and his brother Paul Sergio are sometimes called the Gershwins of Bossa Nova (by me, if by no one else ;) ), and this new set is a compendium of all of Marcos' albums from 1963 to 1974.  His name may not be familiar to some of you, but you've heard his music--he wrote Summer Samba (a huge hit for Walter Wanderley and a chart hit for several Americans with a lyric as So Nice), The Face I Love (a big hit for Andy Williams), and Crickets Sing for Anamaria, among many, many others.  Wonderful, wonderful stuff.

Marcos also wrote that song I was trying to decipher the Gimbel lyric to, FJL.
