And the word of the day is: CACHINNATE!

I love that movie...THE MANCHURIAN CACHINNATE.

I'm up after a completely weird and slightly irritating morning.  I woke up at six-thirty and could not fall back asleep.  I finally did around an hour later, I guess.  Then the phone woke me up at ten-forty - it was the helper.  Apparently we've been contacted by the "manager" of a singer - she is outraged that he's on our Bacharach CD.  The helper informed us that it has nothing to do with us and she needs to call the CHARITY who asked us to put it out.  I believe all performers sign releases, BTW.  But of all the people in that show to make a stink, he's about the lowest on the totem pole - and isn't that always the way?  And I can tell you, that of all the "known" people on that CD, for my money he's the lowest on the totem pole.

I wonder who it could be. :o

However, if we were to ever have to stop selling that CD because of him, well, I'm sure we'd just have to put that information everywhere - I should think that sort of publicity would not be good for an ex-American Idol person, but what do I know.

Ahh.

DR George is the thing RE: GLEE that you are talking about related to Rachel's audition?

Yes...I'd forgotten that it was part of the previews from the week before.

I hadn't seen it in the previws.

I suppose I should go do some errands and whatnot, as the dinner is on and I have to get some stuff done.

Speaking of which, my niece Katie is having a baby girl in August. As a good uncle, I am always trying to assist with baby names...oddly enough, no one ever takes to my choices. I have been trying to convince Katie and her hubby Brian that Gladys, Irene, or Agnes would be delightful names for a little girl.

How about Maxine or Lucille?

And I am home!  I've put two rolls of 3/4" artist tape in my bag for tomorrow's trek to Toyland.

I don't know why, but after two weeks of multiple orders every day like clockwork, yesterday things came to a complete halt - not one order yesterday and today one finally came in - we need excellent vibes and xylophones for orders or this is going to be a very scary month for Kritzerland, as we put out no soundtrack CDs last month, which is going to come back and bite us in the rear end if we don't get something announced in the next day or two.

More from Starlight Musicals Indianapolis:

From 1962: Bye Bye Birdie - Johnny Desmond. Ginger Rogers - Annie Get Your Gun. Marion Marlowe - New Moon. Juanita Hall & Ramon Navarro - Flower Drum Song.

Bye Bye Birdie with Elaine Dunn, Bill Hayes, and Joan Blondell - not sure of the year of this.  But Eddie Applegate later of The Patty Duke Show is playing Hugo and Jesse Pearson is playing Conrad....he also did the movie.  ;D

I'm confused.  I thought Bobby Rydell did the movie.

I bet that Mickey Rooney would have been a hoot in FORUM.

I would pity the  director!

Well it's been a morning of sticker and other shock.  Took Zach in for a review by our orthodontist about an impacted tooth, and found out it will cost $6000 to repair.  Was just getting over that adrenaline rush when I returned home to find a sheath of papers stuck in my door by a Lake Oswego code enforcement officer claiming all sorts of laws had been broken by pruning the trees.  I talked to my neighbor, who had actually talked to the guy, and it turns out NO laws were broken, NO permitting was required, and he was just there to "make sure everything was OK."  Our city government at work.  I hate people sometimes.  :)

I think it's high time eBay rebranded itself as Anal Retentive Packagers R Us.

Sounds like that places him just a level above the musicians.

Should we feel sorry for you? (A roundabout way of asking, is it any good?)
