Sam is former DR Samantha not DR Sam.  DR Samantha is my niece. That can be a bit confusing.  Don't know if you were here when she went to NYC with me and met a bunch of the HHW group and saw The Brain from Planet X and The Last Starfighter and of course Legally Blonde.

Don't know how much I've talked about it.  She's due the end of this month.  She's very uncomfortable but very excited.

Yes i realize Sam is former DR Samantha.I was just wondering if i knew she was pregnant and forgot, or if you hadn't mentioned it.

I think I mentioned it, but I haven't talked about it a lot.  She's had an uneventful pregnancy so far, everything is on track.  I think her due date is June 24 or something like that.  She's uncomfortable, but healthy and there are no concerns that I know of.  They don't know what the baby will be and don't want to know ahead of time.  Their colors are all yellow and green and the theme is bunny rabbits.  Hmmm. Let's see what else can I tell you :)   Oh, I got her the Broadway Lullaby project CD Over the Moon for her birthday.  I was going to take that to her today too, but she knows she's getting it so I don't mind talking about it here.

I didn't talk about the shower. But I've been shopping for it and have some cute things to send her.

She is very happy, uncomfortable as all get out right now, but she's always wanted to be a mom, so she's happy about that.

I'm sorry you're still in pain, TCB. I hope it improves soon.

From what I have gathered from all my doctors and surgeons, the pain in my lower back is not going to go away.  The suregery was only supposed to cure (in time) the numbness in my left leg and my ability to walk.  Getting rid of the pain would require an additional surgery.
And the doctors point?  If they were going to fix one thing they certainly should have went ahead and fixed it so you wouldn't be in PAIN for the rest of your life.  Geeez.

We're finishing up the last day of our visit.

This morning and afternoon we had no plans so we saw Dark Shadows for the exorbitant price of $5.00!!!

I know I'm in the Midwest.

It was fun, not great, but fun.

Anthony is napping and then we are going to my sister's (one of 4) for one last meal. When we return to the hotel we may go in the pool one more time but if so I'll have to use the hair dryer on my swim suit and then pack it in a plastic bag tomorrow if it's not completely dry.

We leave for the airport about 6:30am tomorrow and we will be back in New York (Manhattan, the Center of the World) about 3 or 4 pm depending on traffic.

It's been a fun, relaxing and stress-free trip. I have to go back to work on Tuesday but it will be OK now that I've had a few days off.

Later, gaters.
You and Ant have a safe and stress free trip home!

That is appraently the problem,   I had lumbar 3 and 4 fused during my last surgery back in 2002.  The bad disks now are lumbar 1 and 2.  If they fused those two, the entire lumbar area would be fused, which is apparently a bad thing that they don't want to do.

Thank you very much Jennifer.  I don't have a Kindle but I have the app for my Itouch.  I keep thinking about buying one but just can't see it.  The Itouch may be small but it works fine and does the same thing with the movies, address book, music, photos, etc.

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" .... DONE!    :)

I didn't know, or had forgotten, that it's a reconstructed 3-hour film.  And I was already worn out when I sat down to watch.  But I persevered, and here I am.  Yessirree, here I am.  Very happy to have gotten through these three, in that many days.  Now, when the time comes again, I can begin to REALLY watch them.

Tomorrow, if I'm up to it, "Once Upon a Time in the West".

I've got to go too.  Five thirty comes early and I need to get my shower.  Sigh.

I am reminded of the Meat Loaf's Album "Bat Out Of Hell 2:  Back Into Hell".

Have a good evening all!  Talk with you tomorrow night.

good mrnng to all.

Had a bad few days with the first one with a trip to the ER. This has been my second trip in less than a month. My stomach problems have been acting up again and put me out of commission for the last few days. Seeing two doctors this week. Hoping that this can get to the bottom of it. I really hope that they can find something so they can know what to do to fix it

VIBES THEY FIND A FIX FOR YOU!

We had a lovely time in Mariemont listening to our friend Rick play the carillon.  Afterwards, he took a group, including Richard, up into the tower.  Because the elevator was "iffy" and they were going to use the stairs (about 100), I stayed on the ground with the mother of a little girl who went up with her dad.  When they were in the bell chamber, she kept yelling down, "Help, Mommy, help!"
