Well, you've read the notes, the notes were like a big bowl of soup, and now it is time for you to post until the soupy cows come home.

From yesterday:

On Long Island we have "The Big Duck"

So, which came first...the duck or the World's Largest Egg? :D

Anthony had our neighbor put this sign on our door so that when we returned to the apartment we had a greeting.

And finally, here is a shot of everyone who was at the ceremony.

We have Anthony, me, Anthony's parents (next to me), one of Anthony's cousins (in red/maroon), his uncle, our witness (next to Anthony), my friend from college of 35 years and another of Anthony's cousins.

Good morning, all! I am listening to KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY and smiling broadyl; what a great score! And Barbara is the real name of the dread 3D Diffusion?  The things one learns.

DR Ben, great photos! I wish I'd been there.

Last night was another strange evening of dreams: the one that woke me at 1:30 was terrifying, and I had to tunr on the lights: it had to do with a corpse coming back to bury me alive for doing the same to him. God knows where that came from; I usually inflict psychological violence over physical and  have never, to my knowledge, ever buried anyone alive. My last dream had to do with contemplating pushing a drug addict to their death or helping them down and I chose the latter option; my friend Karen was in this dream as well.

So, i am off to Toyland to tape orchestra parts, print masters for the piano-conductor score, and deliver a carton of toner for the printer. I will check in from there.

DR JRand61, did you see my friend Dominic's comment about the Rex Harrison story?

Today is going to be fun!

I swallow a camera so the doctor can look at my upper colon and hopefully find something to explain my problems I have been having for he last year and a half.

Prayers for you and vibes to you, Mike. I hope the test gives them a reason for your problems so you can get treatment.

Good morning, all.

Great pictures, DR Ben, and vibes to DR Mike's upper colonic regions.

Me, I woke up to:  NO WATER.  Plumber has been called.  I think the problem is the water pump, which doesn't seem to be doing anything or responding to its switch or its circuit breaker being turned off and on.  Won't know for a couple of hours, but I have horrible visions of great big dollar bills flying about...in the wrong direction.

It's not loading very quickly and I need to go back and study DR Ben's post about making the link shorter.

Here are George's instructions from 2004. They might be a bit easier to follow

Type WITH NO SPACES WHATSOVER:

an open bracket [

then "url=" without the quotes

then the actual URL

then close the bracket ]

then type what you want to show, in this case "CLICK HERE" and you can have all the spaces you want at this point

then another open bracket [

then "/url" (again without the quotes)

then a close bracket ]

I added spaces here so that it won't work and you can see the construction:

[url = http : // www. the-url-goes-here. com]Type what you want to show[ / url]

And what I usually like to do is make it bold so it stands out, or you can make it bold and change the color

And all this has to be done in the Reply box, not the Quote Box.

Thanks, George!

Luckily "Ruggles of Red Gap" was finally issued on DVD (non Blu Ray for us regular non-Blu-Ray-type folks).  I had seen the movie years ago and had waited to see the "Pretty Baby" scene again.  After 20 years of waiting, the scene did not disappoint!
