Celeste Holm has died. I had heard from friends on pre-Broadway production of THE GRASS HARP in Michigan that she was the meanest lady in show biz. She was friendly, but eagle-eyed and wary, when I met her sometime between 1979  and 1981 at the Drama Book Shop. She was doing a regional production of LADY IN THE DARK in England and was looking for other Weill songs to interpolate into the production!

When I met her, I found her to be a nice, charming lady.

We watched the movie version of EVITA last night.  I hadn't seen it for about 14 years.

I know that a lot of people don't like the film, but I think it's quite good.

Madonna sucks. There's not one iota of acting in any of her vocals. Whether she's dying or winning an election, she's auto-tuned out of any sense of drama. And the stupid whore has the vanity to take over "Another suitcase In Another Hall" so she's the only woman on the soundtrack? What a pig.
But what do you really think? Please, don't hold back.

I could say more. She's an unpleasant lady, one more hostile ugly star who treats the public that made them one like garbage.

What can I say?  We enjoyed the movie.  Sue me!

 ;)

Do I need to some something CONTROVERSIAL?

Are you asking advice?  Why don't you write it, put it aside for about two hours, and then decide?

DR CILLA LIZ has not returned my call.

I think you should open a PayPal dispute!

Thanks for posting this!  I wonder why it says "Part_1" when it seems to be the whole thing.  Anyway, it's great!

The associated press called my office about a new client, but I wasn't there so I was mentioned as not returning their call, lolghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhcx\

that last line was Ricky walking across the keyboard

Cute Ricky.

When I read comments like this from now on I won't think avoidance was the reason the call wasn't returned.

I'm up, I'm up.  A really good night's sleep with some odd dreams that I no longer remember.  I was awakened at ten-thirty by a telephonic call from the East Coast Singer, who did her act last night at the Signature Theater cabaret space - completely sold out and apparently a huge success for her, so that's good.  All the humor landed and they ate her up.

We had a lot of wind and rain last night.  Instead of 75 to 85 degrees, they are now forecasting 63 as the high today.

I haven't listened to much of it yet, but I was able to download it and convert it to a single four-hour MP3. :-\ The sound quality is pretty darned good, though...from the little bit that I checked.

You can play it on your computer, or someone who is more technically advanced than I am, can break it up into tracks and put them on regular CDs.

Well, I hate to do this TCB (no, really I do ;)), but I'm going to my sister's for her boyfriend's birthday.  We went out to dinner on Wednesday, but the rest of the family will be there today.

Have a good day, all!
