Last week of Aida camp.  Show opens on Thursday.  We'll be ready.  Big surprise party on Sunday, which is a HUGE production in itself.  Try preparing a house and a yard without the DP asking what's up.  I'm hoping he's working A LOT this week.  His cousin from Pennsylvania comes in on Friday, and she'll be a HUGE diversion.  She's in on this, of course!

I thought Aida was camp.

Seriously, glad you'll be ready. Sounds like fun.

Had a Weetabix for breakfast but an hour later at the coffee shop I felt so hungry that I had to have a bacon roll.

Had an e-mail response from you-know-who.  He did not recognize me, apparently - he knew I was there but was confused because it was such a big group.  He was waiting for someone to call him Steve so he'd know.  He apologized, so all is well.

I'm glad the response was friendly.  I'm guessing this has happened with other people & is an issue with him.

Morning all.  Just finished walking 2 miles.

Not much new to say since last night.

Glad all is alright with you and your friend, BK.  It's never nice to have bad feelings between friends.

I won't give it away but "Falling Skies" was good.  I just wish there wasn't so many commercials though it.  It's almost worth the wait to the next night after it's recorded to be able to fast forward though them.  If I could just wait to see what is going to happen but I really like the show and can't wait.  :)

Vibes, happy thoughts and wishing all a wonder filled day!

Danise I recommend waiting to watch the show.  Watching without commercials is more enjoyable, especially for a suspenseful show like this one.

DR DRUXY - I dropped Batman after that Tim Burton disappointment....I just can't get into these BIG NOISY epics......but then again, maybe I am not the audience for the movie.

Me neither.

I thought that BATMAN BEGINS was a bore, and that THE DARK KNIGHT (even with Heath Ledger) a bigger bore.

Well, it's gotta be better than the Joel Schumacher Batmans.

But bacon is a vegetable. Why would you need a vegetarian version?

He's in his 80s. Who knows what his eyesight is like. And by his own confession, if he were even sober.

I am home, and I need to vacuum before Time Warner shows up and begins crawling over the modem and plugs under my computer table.

The buildng management on West 27th Street boggles me. They know that we'rekeeping the office space, only the name of the company is changign and that Packard is moving out in the next couple of weeks, but they won't let us move the 23rd Street office in until 8/01! This is ridiculous. Why can't we move in on 7/31?

George, I don't need My Fair Lady, just the 1776 Laserdisc DVD.

Possible My Fair Ladys were Kevin H. and Larry and maybe one or two others.

Ooh!  Ooh!  This is the John Wilson-led performance at the 2012 BBC Proms?  Count me IN, please.

Not the Annette Funicello version? (I  don't mean "The Visit," either, though that's a scary bit of casting.)

The Disney film is such a repellent mess, but the Drew Brrymore and the animated versions following make it look like art.
